“Mid-Wake” is # 15A and #15B(divided in 2 parts)
“The Legend” is #21A and #21B(divided in 2 parts)
Somehow, someone misplaced those 2 books as #28 and 29 OR they were released as #28 and #29 BUT they are just back stories that fits right after their corresponding books(15 and 21)

WTF is going on?
Is it that they decided to move them after #27 to make them continuation books or someone was reeeeeeally high at the moment of numbering the books lmao
Plot twist be like: #28 and #29 have borrower title names from previous books BUT they have nothing to do with them…

Jerome Morrell Ahern (June 23, 1946 – July 24, 2012)

Ahern produced twenty-seven novels in numbered sequence, plus two un-numbered novels which fit between 15/16 and 21/22.
The series was long out of print(ended in 1993 with #27 Death Watch), until the continuation of the series in “The Inheritors of Earth” which was released in June 2013.
In conclusion, the original series was supposed to end on #27.
To finally close this mystery, he passed away in 2012 and the series was resumed a year later, which means that whoever hold the rights of the series resumed production of the series.
