After the attack on President Rosalyn Glass, Lincoln Pike finally seizes the reins of power. With hopes of returning the country to greatness, he initiates sweeping measures to rebuild colonies, establish a gold-backed currency, and gain complete control of the military. Little do others realize that his inability to cope with a devastating loss has started him down a treacherous path toward madness.

Battle Lines
The Survivalist, Book 5

Forced to once again travel the roads, they face all new threats, including bloodthirsty animals, and survivalists with a twisted system of justice. When they come face-to-face with patient zero, not only does the origin of the virus become clear but also a glimmer of hope for mankind’s last survivors.

With sanity continuing to slip away, President Pike orders the abduction and murder of General Carr. As plans falter and allies depart, he is forced to accept that a larger showdown is coming. Battle lines are being drawn, and in the end, only the most ruthless will be left standing.

Finest Hour
The Survivalist, Book 6

Tanner and Samantha depart on a quest to put an end to President Pike’s growing tyrannical rule. Along the way, they must confront the most violent of men, including a psychotic Delta Force soldier who has taken to skinning his victims, and a band of Mexican drug dealers that insist on young Samantha’s help in recovering their lost payload. Only as they push into the nation’s capital, does Samantha realize that Tanner plans to call upon her father’s killer to help them survive the terror that fills the tunnels beneath the city.

Dark Days

There they discover a menace so great that it threatens to leave the surrounding area forever uninhabitable. When Tanner is captured by a militia group, Samantha is faced with not only surviving on her own, but also finding a way to secure his escape.

With Tanner and Samantha away, Issa secretly departs for Mount Weather to share the exciting news of her pregnancy. Armed with an elephant rifle and her two trusty blades, she discovers a band of men trafficking in those who have been afflicted with the virus. Freedom Lost
The Survivalist, Book 9

Only a handful of miles away, Issa leads a band of infected misfits on a bold rescue mission. While attempting to overcome a community of violent slavers, tragedy strikes, and she is forced accept that the fight cannot be won. Trapped and outnumbered, Issa and those in her charge begin to wonder if there is any hope of escape.

National Treasure
The Survivalist, Book 10

Solemn Duty
The Survivalist, Book 11

Meanwhile, Tanner and Samantha continue their pursuit of the gold stolen from Fort Knox. When they discover the train used to carry it away, they also encounter a small community plagued by grotesque body-snatching mutants. To recover the gold, they must undertake a dangerous quest to rid the area of the hideous monsters. But as the journey takes them into an abandoned missile silo, they make a discovery far worse than any they could ever have imagined.

After taking her revenge, Issa awaits Tanner’s return to Mount Weather. When a young widow is brutally murdered, she must uncover not only her killers but also their reasons behind it. Discovering that the killing was a precursor to something much larger, Issa must choose between the safety of her unborn child and that of the community’s beloved matron.

Road Home
The Survivalist, Book 12

Following the tragic death of his deceitful lover, Mason hopes to return to the one place where a peaceful life might still be possible. Detouring to recover a hidden treasure of gold, he meets a beautiful widow in trouble. Together, they travel to her hometown of Clover, South Carolina, an idyllic community protected by a police chief and his faithful deputies. Caught in the middle of a plot driven by greed and lust, Mason soon discovers that carrying a king’s ransom is not without its risks.

Meanwhile, Issa and Mother must find their way out of the tunnels under Mount Weather. Pregnant and without supplies, Issa is forced to use her wits and trusty Merkel rifle to keep them alive. As they push deeper into the darkness, they uncover a horror that traces back to the earliest days of Mother’s rule. They quickly realize that their only hope for escape is to trust one another, even if it means taking an unthinkable risk.

With two nuclear warheads in their possession, Tanner and Samantha embark on their journey back to Mount Weather. Along the way, they encounter a bounty hunter in search of his next job. Agreeing to transport him to a place known only as “Sanctuary,” they discover a community built around the unlikeliest of currencies. With evil threatening to tear them apart, they must once again stand together if they are to have any hope of returning home.
