Cat is a psion–a telepathic half-breed–and a survivor. But Cat is a streetwise outcast from a far planet and cannot hope to save Lady Elnear without becoming a part of the seductive, treacherous world of high finance and power politics in which she lives. From the malevolent Charon taMing and the fanatical religious leader Stryger to the silver-skinned, sensuous symbplayer Argentyne and the cyber-augmented security chief Braeclee, Cat must explore the minds and motives of eath taMing and those whose lives are caught in their orbit. Unraveling the mystery through a maze of false leads and electronic enigmas, discovering secrets that range from the sensually delightful to the excruciatingly painful, Cat will follow the elusive trail of the execution order until it leads him to a place from which no living being has ever returned. And then, to shatter the prism of lies, the young psion must become bait, a catspaw–and expose himself to an utterly horrifying atrocity that could cost Cat his future… his sanity… and most likely, his life.

Does anyone have Phoenix in the Ashes book 3 of this series?

Catspaw is one of my all time fave books. Closest thing to style for it I’ve found is Daniel Keyes Moran’s The Long Run.
