Taylor Schumann never thought she’d be a victim of gun violence. But one spring day a man with a shotgun walked into her workplace and opened fire on her. While she survived, she was left with permanent wounds, both visible and invisible.

Guns used in self defense per year-500,00 to 3 million.

A gun is a tool. It’s how it is used and by whom.
Like any other tool, learn how to use, be respectful of what it can do and allow it in the hands of people who should have it, not criminals, or mentally unstable people.
Lastly, the intent of the 2nd Amendment is to allow the citizen to protect himself from a tyrannical Govt. Ask those citizens who lived under Hitler, Stalin and Mao.

@apollo60 wrong. 8,029 killed by handguns in the USA last year. 4,863 by firearms of an unspecified type. 1,739 by knives and cutting instruments.
