Actually, my view is that Boris and the gang belittled and downplayed the COVID threat. Go see the statistics and compare them to, say, Finland’s.

Pretty much every government used fear to grab power. We learned a lot of sad lessons about what complacent cowards most people are. No joke… wars have been fought over much less. Now people are proud that they had the courage to stand on a corner holding a sign.

One might think, on a site such as this, if a book does not appeal a visitor would silently pass it by.
Instead we witness those who voted for the (literally) demented ‘leader’ of the party that ran Human slavery in the USA and formed the K KK, make a point of leaving comments strongly suggesting that certain books should be banned or burned.
One here even stated that Rupert Murdoch’s mouthpiece said this book is ‘bad’ so we should ignore it. A person so dumb it doesn’t know Fox News and The Times are BOTH Murdoch’s ‘children’ and serve the self same political agenda.
The entire psy-op of the last 20+ months centres on the UK. And a lot of people do not want you noticing this fact.

UK govt is Conservative. Pro-business. Not as loonie as the US GOP in flatly denying facts but were slow off the mark in dealing with Covid. And too quick to declare “freedom”.
The insanity of the Covid truthers who think that any government actually benefits from Covid is beyond belief.

How about just wear a mask until we get 90% immunisation? Too hard. Rather let the elderly die. And say that anyone younger who dies is a crisis actor.
