This is a man who absolutely refuses to debate the science. This man is a vaccine pushers and coward. He wanted people who disagreed with him to be jailed and all kinds of other extremely undemocratic rhetoric.
These men and women of science refused to debate their science even when claim after claim turned out to be false.
Remember, “getting vaccinated stoped the spread of the virus.”
or, “getting vaccinated prevented you from getting covid.”
Everything these people said turned out to false and when people wanted to slow down and talk about it, they insisted on calling them conspiracies and anti-science.
Science needs to debated and challenged and there was a time when most of you instinctively knew that. I don’t know what happened but I can predict all the attacks I get will be dismissals and resorting to the same kind of claims as ‘conspiracies’ and the like, and you not address any of the claims I made or other like me.
The people that still think that what happened for those few years was okay and you somehow need to continue to defend what happened, honestly, I am at a loss. I think some people have been psychologically damaged through all that and I’m sorry.
There is no prove that damage is permanent though. I still have hope for you

America needs a permanent memorial to the 800,000 Republican voters who refused vaccination, never wore masks, and avoided social distancing.
They never marched on the Capitol, didn’t vote in the 2020 election, and were a major reason there was no Red Wave in 2022.
They were Republicans, but in their Country’s hour of need they did what was required of them
America needs more Republicans like that.

@Santa: if you “debate” antivaxxers, they just spew a load of anecdotes and obscure studies that a scientist can’t rationally respond to without doing hours of research. The antivaxxers claim victory, regardless everything they said can be refuted the next day.
Hotez has written books and numerous scientific papers. Antivaxxers can dispute them in the scientific journals. But they prefer the safe space of some blowhard’s podcast or Fox “news”.
But you are the perfect example of the kind of lunacy this book is about, so any disagreement is just more proof of a conspiracy.

Stupid people always want to be remembered as heroes, usually for violent and antisocial reasons, when the truth is sooooo obvious: you’re lonely.

When you start getting laid, learning how to cook or play a music instrument, start exercising and meditating, start having long and enlightening conversations with people who aren’t constantly trying to hide their fear and insecurities behind a childish wall of toughness, you’ll soon forget all about the big, bad evil gay muslim jewish women and their quest to make you forget the zombie lord in the sky who is his own father, you’ll stop trying to prove to anonymous people on audiobook sites how tough, smart and strong you are and you’ll learn how to live a peaceful life.
But yes, I encourage you types to not get vaccinated - for any illness, ever. There are simply too many people on this planet and when some are volunteering to get the next illness, I won’t stop them. Better you than me. Some of you couldn’t be aborted before birth, so hopefully the antivax crowd will get better organized before the next pandemic, because we’ll need people to die quickly so that we can study them and develop vaccines to protect the rest of us. So thanks for taking the bullet, guys!
