Thx striider for the both/either formats.
I myself, prefer m4b’s, but if a book is upped in only mp3, then that’ll have to do and I appreciate either.
Whats not good is, putting both mp3 and m4b in the same torrent. If you only d/l one of them, then there is no way for you to seed it later, so how YOU did it, 2 different torrents, 2 different formats, then you can still take your pick AND seed as well.

jsmithers366: Correct-A-Mundo! also why i’m not a fan of muli-book series uploads or “Mega Collections”
If a single book upload dies & i don’t have it anymore all need be done is run the .aax thru InAudible and bam you’ve literally got the exact same files to reseed with again.
Assuming the original upper didn’t add anything extra to it, like all the old ones with “DownloadedFromDemonoid.txt” that make reseeding to 100% a real pain in the ass.

i used to be really opposed to m4b format. so much in fact i would wait until a .mp3 version to come out. however with the right app m4b is much better for listening on android. if the program you are using to listen unexpectedly closes m4b format will get you closest to the last point listened too unlike the 30 min or even 1 hour gap mp3 format causes

Audio quality is 64 kbps, same as source file. I hear no quality issues.
