I can still feel it reverberating through my being years later. Just seeing it here, I had to comment. Incredible. It has such an otherworldly quality, while being very much of this world. It feels like southern gothic fused with magical realism, and taken directly from the dreams you visit every night.

What a good read.. Fantastic Story.

Am I the only one that didn’t like this book? After 22 hours of listening, and virtually nothing having happened plot-wise, I gave up. The author could have cut out like 3/4ths of the book and would have lost nothing. I guess the last 5 hours of the book is where the plot happened
