Well, I do know about Socialism after living with so called “Democratic Socialism” in Sweden. It’s stifling, repressive in nature, just like it’s Big Brother Communism.
“You have to think and do like us, otherwise you’re an evil and bad person. Don’t see our corruption and mean-spiritedness, our illogical behavior. If WE make mistakes it’s OK because we just mean well, we’re the GOOD people. We know what’s best for you.”
The arrogance and hubris know no limits.

I’d respect your dissenting opinions more if I thought you’d actually listened to the book. But, seeing how the run time is longer than the book was up when you posted, your opinions are simply bias and not a reflection of the actual content.

And why is this so? It’s probably due to a combination of factors, one being the fact that these young people are the third generation sexual revolution’s children, complete without natural parents, fathers, religious instruction, discipline, work ethic, patience, delayed gratification and self-reliance.

Because of the litany of reactive, boorish “reviews,” I downloaded this book and listened to every word. It’s a good book, and the description summarizes it well. Democratic Socialism certainly does seem to be coming into its own, and for one, I’m glad for it. Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid are all socialist programs, and they’re working fine (or would if Republicans would leave them alone). The day of the Almighty Profit is setting. The new generation will have control soon. And it seems quite clear that they’d prefer a few more socialist programs, like a living wage, universal healthcare, and easy access to higher education. I can only hope I live long enough for them to realize their dreams.

Why You Should Have Your Head Examined If You Support Socialism
Robinson is a hard Leftist ideologue trying to sell the same philosophy that has murdered untold Millions wherever its been tried. Smart guy, dumb ideas.
