On October 23, 1983, a Hezbollah fighter drove a truck bomb into the U.S. Marine Barracks in Beirut, Lebanon.
The devastating bombing killed 220 Marines and dozens of other personnel.
The attack was perpetrated by Hezbollah, a terror group founded, trained, and financially supported by the Iranian regime.

“Struggle” against Israel? You make it seem like an exertion suffered by some freedom fighters Mr. Blanford. These are blood-thirsty assassins, even of their own people! To name a few, Lebanon’s most estimable prime minister and some 20 other democratically elected parliamentarians, not to mention journalists, peaceful activists who happen to disagree with them, adding up to hundreds of innocent civilians in mysterious explosions!
