A lot of people are saying he’s the most persecuted orange in democratic history.
There’s a durable principle of democracy which states that the people are always right. They may be catastrophically ill-informed & wrong (a given) - but nonetheless, they are fundamentally correct in their error.
Another factor of voter psychology: people do not share identical values, and want, via circuitous, often surprising, means, to achieve different ends.
Both themes then tumble together at election time.
As far as the specific instance of Donald: like the proverbial lucky general, he remains gifted in his adversaries & opposition.

The “3 million” people that voted for Hillary are from two of the biggest Welfare States in the nation. NY and Kalifornia.
One must also deduct the votes from Illegals, Dead People and those that voted twice or more for Hillary.
Wonder what the tally would be then.
We are a Republic for a reason. Learn why we have an Electoral College!
