Finally a small counterbalance to all that socialist-democratic BS that is washing your brain from 99% of the US an EU media networks.

@Jack_Milad, did you ever take a moment to consider that perhaps the reason why Fox News has the 2nd largest viewership (even though it too is biased) is because they at least make an effort at reporting the news versus the other 95% of media outlets in the US which are so biased, they don’t even bother making an attempt.
For example, the largest US shooting in 2020 occurred in August. Twenty-two people were wounded in Washington DC. Do you know what story ABC, NBC, CBS, and the other media outlets covered that day? Their media reports were on the Sturgis Bike Rally and what a Covid-19 super spreader event that was.
They didn’t even mention the shooting.
It’s unfortunate that’s not a one-off. In late June 2020, 15 people were wounded coming out of a funeral home in Chicago. Other than Fox, of the major networks, only ABC mentioned the shooting in their news.
Yet it’s disturbing how much coverage the networks gave to the shootings of some Asians or gays last summer. And before get your panties in a bunch and call me a bigot or racist, I’m not saying that those people deserved to be shot, I’m saying that the major networks should report the news and not their political bias.
Perhaps someone can provide a worthwhile reason for these news organizations to not report on the shootings in June and August, other than the fact that these were black people shooting black people? It certainly appears to be politically and racial biased reporting, especially during all those peaceful BLM protests (read riots).
How about reporting other incidents like the continuous rioting in Portland. The media had no problem reporting that federal agents were sent in to Portland and were arresting people for trying to burn down the Federal building and other buildings during their riots last summer. Yet once the troops were pulled out, the networks stopped reporting on 100+ days of rioting that was going on. The riots are still occurring, and the Mayor is requesting federal assistance.
When the media doesn’t even make an attempt at providing both sides of the story (and that includes Fox News) then they are just pushing someone else’s agenda.

When you talk about gutting democracy, are you talking about 1/6? Because if that’s the case, I would agree with you. I don’t respect rioters of any persuasion. Although I admit I’m more than irritated hearing the left whine about the $1.5M in damages caused by the 1/6 riots, while blatantly ignoring the conservative estimated $2B dollars in damage by the “BLM peaceful protests”. Perhaps that’s the hypocritical and self-serving parts of the democrats that you’re talking about.
If you’re talking about “The Big Lie” as the media calls it, I’ll say I think Trump screwed up big time. Whether you believe he won or lost the election, he can’t prove it, so he should have kept his mouth shut.
But, I can see why he may believe the election was stolen especially after the came down to Michigan, Pennsylvania, Georgia. All of which he had a substantial lead in the morning after the election with 74-85% of the ballets counted, and by the next day it had turned around. In the cases of Michigan and Pennsylvania, to turned by hundreds of thousands of votes. Hmm, a bit statistically improbable if the states were counting/recording the mail in ballets throughout the day that there are an overwhelming number suddenly for one candidate. Plus, the Republican auditors in those states screwed up too. They should have been allowed to watch the counts, not from 6 feet or more away, on outside of glass panels. The auditors should have been in the courtroom to halt the counts before it was even started, not after.
Considering one poll I saw from CNN said that 80% of all Republican believe the election was stolen. So when you talk about how the democrats can be self serving, perhaps you’re speaking of Joe “I’m here to unite the left and the right” Biden. I get it, he won the election so why risk it, but hmm if he was truly such a man of the people, maybe he should have said, “Yes, lets audit the results. Prove that there was no illicit activity.” But hey, why chance it.
Contrary to what the media likes to represent though, the 1/6 riots didn’t threaten democracy. At most they threatened the House and Senate, all of which we safe. Even if the rioters had somehow captured people, legally, they would have no basis to overturn the election. And Biden would still have been installed as President on 1/20. But damn that does play nicely for them and their media.

just out of curiosity, i googled that “largest shooting in 2020″ and it turns out one person died. I mean, if that’s the largest shooting the Republicans are willing to acknowledge, no wonder they can’t process what Trump caused in January of this year.

Colorado Right Commission case happened in 2018 it was established that your freedom of speech doesn’t extend to forums run by private companies or individuals such as this one. Property damage caused by rioters (no matter their cause) is violence. Whether its a small group of people that foolishly believe they will affect the result of a national election, or large group of citizens that are angry at how they perceive the system, the reasons are just rationalizations.
