Dramatization
Silliness ensues in the latest (and unexpected) entry from the former Big Finish (and now Bafflegab Productions) entry from Paul Magrs.
Enjoy!
From the Bafflegab Website:
When MI:13’s mortuary begins filling up with the disembodied feet of gardening enthusiasts, Harry Crow (David Warner) and Professor Dunning (Terry Molloy) are plunged into a sinister world of garden allotments, topiary fowl and gaudy garden ornaments.
When the landlord of Harry’s local, the Six Bells, is also found minus his snakeskin brothel creepers (and their contents), Crow and Dunning are plunged into a more sinister world still - of Morris dancers, exceptionally strong ale and all-powerful ancient Indian deities.
What is the dark secret of the Six Bells privy? Are the Beer and Real Ale Association merely hirsute eccentrics, or something else? And what is the real purpose of Morris dancing?
Crow and Dunning discover that horticulture can be a dangerous business, as they find themselves pitted against their shortest foes yet… the Gnomes of Death.

Loved the old Scarifiers, especially with the Brigs voicing Lionheart. Can’t believe they have made another episode.
Thanks for finding and sharing this, cant wait to hear it.
PS The title is spelt wrong (I not Y) and doesn’t show in a search for this (sorry Gweilo for doing your job lol)

Thanks, that was really quick. Love these.

Thanks for the share! I never realized there was a new one out! But I have another couple of corrections for you:
1. The Scarifyers were never Big Finish productions to begin with, even though they hosted them for awhile since the creators did some writing for their various Who-related ranges. The company that’s mainly responsible for hosting them is “Bafflegab Productions”.
2. Paul Magrs didn’t write this installment of “The Scarifyers”. This one was written by Simon Barnard and Paul Morris, who created the series and have written all of the installments up to this point.

AWWEEEESOOOMMME! Thank you so much. I thought it was a “closed series”. This made my whole week. Love these stories.

@ ReadForME
Thanks for that.
I actually meant the 1st ‘y’ in Scary* should be an ‘i’ as in Scari*.
And then I misspelt the second part and put in a ‘i’ instead of a ‘y’ as in *fyers.
I’ll leave the corrections to Gweilo from now on lol.

I miss Lionheart. Things were never the same without him (sorry,Crow). Plus, he treats Dunning with respect instead of just “tolerating” him. But thanks for this, anyway!

Not the same, true, but I really like Crow’s character as well, and I think they dealt with the death of Nick Courtney in a really respectful way. Great and entertaining series.
