Thanks, I’ve always liked MacDonald, still have some of his books and I also had the full-cast Sleeping Beauty on tape which over the years disintegrated and became unplayable

MacDonald’s similes and metaphors are brilliant.The singer-song writer Warren Zevon turned me on to him ,he mentions the Dew Drop Inn in a song, a veiled tribute. Give him a listen.
