Since 2016, the UK has been in a crisis of its own making. This is not the fault of Brexit but of a larger problem of our politics. Can’t say for sure I’m gonna like this book because it seems to conflate many ostensibly different ideas, but I’m grateful for the opportunity to hear it. Thanks.

London is not really an English city anymore - John Cleese.
I think he’s on to something. And it’s happening to other “world cities” in relation to their countries. They have diverged so much from their country. The people living in those cities also don’t recognize, “their country” - because they aren’t living in it anymore.

Like most capital cities Londonstan is no longer an English, British or white city.

@Postlethwaite: I don’t know where “Londonstan” is, but the London in the UK is about 12% Muslim.
