  Thank you RedRocket! I’ve really enjoyed some of the new Who audiobooks, and they are less available via torrent than are the classic audiobooks and dramatizations.

  Hopefully I’ll snag that one this month. I thought this story was OK, not great. Just listened to Beautiful Chaos. Better story, I thought, and Bernard Cribbins was the perfect narrator/reader for it. I need to do a big torrent of all the New Series Novels, along with the audios. Kind of a moving target, that, as the audios come out months after the books, so there are always a few books without audios at any given time. In the meanwhile if y’all could mention some of the ones that aren’t on here or around that you’d like I can see if I have them. I think I’m only missing audio on Plague, Shroud of Sorrow and Engines of War (last book released, number 54 in the series, featuring the War Doctor) and have the novels up to The Blood Cell which comes out next month.

  Yeah, DarkerEyes, since AudioGo stopped distributing for the BBC, and since the BBC only ships physical disks, most will be getting it via Audible (Amazon). Audible uses DRM of the “thou must own Windoze” variety. You have to be an expert, have special software (and a spare Microshaft platform) or record off the sound card. There are devices with the capability built in as well, but you can’t copy on most all of them.

  I’ll never understand using MS DRM. It’s the easiest to crack, so it protects nothing, but it DOES ensure that you keep a copy of MSW around, which seems to be its major function. It’s incredible that Audible would take the hit AND NEVER MENTION, “btw, what you’re buying will never play on a Walkman”.

  I really hope so too and guess there’s a chance since Aunty is doing it. I’m hoping that Sophie Aldred not reading her own story in 11 Doctors, 11 Stories wasn’t something about “only Big Finish gets to have actual actors playing themselves”. Mind you, I LOVED her reading of the 4th Dr’s story, but it would have been nice to hear her read Ace with the 7th’s as well.

  It’s a good read too. I’m only up to page 12 so far and they’ve already explained (finally) what the “Skaro Degredations” are.
