@fbitolo is likely referring to the whole ‘canceled’ thing. Dave Chappelle is a funny comedian but his a small part of his special is misinformed, first by confusing definitions and then [later] complaining about ‘cancel culture’. The latter results from him jumping on the bandwagon of bullet-pointed catchphrases considering what everyone complains about as ‘cancel culture’ is just really accountability for saying or posting stupid sh*t. Used to be a comedian would just be booed by the crowd for going on a racist rant (al la Michael Richards) but now, with social media, the whole world gets to boo. There are plenty of comedians who still make fun of stereotypes (racial, gender, etc.) that aren’t ‘canceled’.
What started Dave’s problem was he confused his definitions of sex and gender. Sex is biology and there are only two sexes. That is a fact. Gender, however, is a social construct (and if you disagree, do understand the word itself was coined by a [dubious] researcher who needed a word to described what he erroneously believed was purely a social identity he could magically bestow on an individual given the right circumstances). Dave used the wrong word when he began his rant, with biological anatomy being his definer for gender, which it is not. When he referred to himself as Team TERF, he once again barely understood what he was talking about as ‘TERFs’ aren’t anti-trans, they are Exclusionary when it comes to trans-women in female safe spaces. This idea is also misguided as excluding trans-women from female bathrooms, for instance, doesn’t prevent any man from walking into one and assaulting the occupant. Trans-women are just much (much, much) less likely to do so. Yes, it’s happened, but that very specific kind of assault is perpetrated exponentially more by men who aren’t, and have never identified as, trans. Again, their TERF position is understandable but is only a false sense of security. Outlawing trans-women from using female bathrooms doesn’t keep men with assault on the brain out of the safe space. It does, however, further denigrate a minority population already hated for their existence.

(I really wish comics would stop ranting about cancel culture … This time in history is tragically funny, so much other material for them to exploit).

Gender is a bogus construct for the left to pretend that there are not just two sexes, which, there plainly are.
And don’t give me the whole transphobia routine, my girlfriend is a ladyboy, she agrees.
Chapelle stopped being funny when he started doing the whole I can’t breathe routine for 30 pathetic woke minutes, but people are entitled to laugh at whatever they find funny, even if it makes the left uncomfortable.

I don’t think rapists particularly care about whether or not they’re allowed to do something. It’d be far easier for a man to just walk into a womens bathroom and rape someone than going to all the effort of being trans.
