My guess is they watch the TV show and didn’t like it too much. Now they found the books and h ope the books are better. No mind boggling necessary :)

There are exceptions, you now.. Altered Carbon for example.. Tv show took a plot from a bad written book and turned it in to a success.
Haven’t read this one yet. But thank you for sharing any way. I will post a few words after..
