The audio mixing is f*cking aweful. Whenever the narrator raises his voice, for example when a character shouts, it’s painful to listen to. Not sure what the exact term is, but like the dB of the sound goes beyond like the “acceptable” range or something. It’s kind of like having the bass in a song way be too much for a cheap speaker to handle so it sounds like sh!t.
I tried using The Equalizer function in my audiobook app and that didn’t make much difference.
Someone just needs to import the whole track into an simple editor like audacity and run like a normalizer function and like a limiter function and I think they would fix it. I’m far from a audio technician but I’ve done simple things like that before and I think that would help.
But jesus there’s a lot of shouting in this book. Other than that it’s a decent book.

I admit I didn’t get very far in this, I really dislike romance in a book and this was heading there and I have so many other books on my “to be read” pile.
Still I only ran it through inaudible, do you know if there is some setting in there I can use to prevent this? I don’t know if the original download was like that or inaudible did it.
