This isnt sci-fi. This is pure delusional fantasy. These books should only be put in the LGBT catagory and should stop being classified in other categories as well. This isnt sci-fi. This is a trans romance fantasy novel with the thinnest sci-fi glaze to give them a way to make there SJW dreams come true. A magic alien invasion that because it connects people makes everyone a communist and allows all kinds of magic like allowing you to be a new gender reborn like you always dreamt of. What utter tripe.
Nothing wrong with a character who is LGBT in a Sci-FI (or any genre) story. Thats perfectly fine, doesnt make something a LGBT novel. They are not exactly new to sci-fi. The difference is when you make an entire book about this non-sense is when it becomes strictly LGBT and not Sci-Fi. If its only something that is going to really appeal to such a limited community like this , it doesnt belong classified in anything about LGBT. Ursula Le Guin’s The Left Hand of Darkness is real Sci-Fi that includes such topics as gender while not turning into a trans fantasy romance like this book.
Just because something in unrealistic doesnt mean its sci-fi. If that was the case, alot of the TV we have would be Sci-Fi. If we were to believe alot of the television and movies that come out these days, more than half the world is gay or trans. Its just unrealistic when LITERALLY almost every character is gay or at least bisexual. Again, fine to have characters like that, but in the past they were not over represented so unrealistically and they were not trying to shove SJW gender politics down your throat. Its like they feel they have to over represent minority groups these days in order to feel PC (cant remember the last time ive seen a straight white male in Doctor Who is any sort of talking role, everyone is either Gay, a minority, a Women, Old, Or both, not a single straight white male anywhere in site for a season or more, there is a reason people are calling it Diversity Who now). The truth is, only a tiny tiny tiny amt of the population is LGBT. So when you make that a predominant feature of your stories, thats when your story becomes LGBT not some other genre.
I also dont understand some “Sci-Fi” idea that when a society becomes sufficiently advanced, everyone would be bisexual. Says who? But its a common theme in alot of sci-fi. As if becoming more advanced technologically/scientifically means we would no longer care about things like gender and just have sex with whoever is available. Male, Female, Non-BInary, whatever. Like being straight is some primitive idea that you grow past. Like violence or something. I see no reason to believe that would be true. I dont think being gay/bisexual has anything to do with overcoming societal prejudices and becoming a more enlightened society. As if we are all waiting to have sex with our same gender once we can get past these silly primitive ideals of ours. Ya, right. I doubt capitalism is going to go away either just because you connect everyone together.

Yes, I watch the show. It is my favorite show (4th doctor is my favorite) And Grahem is straight and white ya, but he is the grandpa figure. Not exactly a straight white of age male (I did say Old). He also was married to a black woman. So id say he is still a pretty good example of why they call it diversity who. Whats your point. And actually, its snowflakes that would like to listen to this, not be triggered. I dont see anyone triggered tho, but then again you SJW just love to throw out that word triggered. Its about as pathetic as people saying ’snowflake’ and ‘fake news’.
