I believe we need to educate conservatives that everyone in the west presently lives in “liberal democracies”, a term which has nothing to do with scary notions of being a New York late drinking liberal.

@sameasy - Yeah, that’s not even remotely elitist and arrogant. Anyone who isn’t fortunate enough to be me is essentially a knuckle-dragging, slack-jawed, mouth-breathing half-wit. No one else can be trusted to make independent, elementary decisions. They’re lucky that I even deign to condescend to them, as I point a supercilious finger towards a dictionary, to mitigate their contemptible ignorance. Cos I’m educated, refined, tolerant and non-judgmental, see?

Jeez caesar963, he’s just pointing out that the use of the world liberal here doesn’t have the same connotations here as it does in the American politics
