This is my attempt at cleaning up the audio for the cassette tape version of The Mist, from Skeleton Crew by Stephen King, narrated by Frank Muller.
I was able to get most of the background noise and tape hiss removed, and the results sound pretty good!

The movie version of this has an excellent ending. Highly recommended. I assume the book has a similar ending.

This does sound pretty darn good my friend. The only issue is that it was encoded into 64Kbps instead of 128 so i can hear some compression artifacts in it. If you can go back and save it in 128 then I give you my blessing that it tops mine :) Single file for a book 3 hrs long isnt too bad but each tape side would be nice for nostalgia reasons LOL But you did great with it my friend. Feel free to do any others I have uploaded. The more the merrier as this should be a public project so we can get it as good as possible since the companies dont seem to give a damn

The Body from Different Seasons is in need of help too along with a little bit on Shawshank Redemption and The Breathing Method. Apt Pupil sounds pretty good already but the tapes for the other 3 were poor, even brand new but his voice on tape sounds more accurate than CD or Digital where they seem to have messed up pitch and speed and tempo in the xfer

The Mist is so rare that it almost didnt exist. I Fell into it after years of looking and met a guy on a forum who said he had a digital xfer from tape. I ended up giving him my whole collection for it LOL Glad you enjoy the find and the others. Been a LONG road putting it together
