MontyII, theres gonna be tons of people giving it bad reviews. dont let that stop you from enjoying it. Some of my favorite books are some i put off getting for way longer than I should have simply because the first reviews popping up were mostly negative.

I liked the first couple of books in the series but now I just find them annoying.

Im about 9 hours into the book now and I think its ace. There is loads of stat choices and upgrade stuff, he adds new category and further complicates the world and skill trees so I can see why people are fed up with the series. I find that it’s all entertainingly delivered and the intricacies of the game dynamics of this lit rpg make it sound like a game I’d love to play. Plus there is a very cool new Parks and Rec element introduced. It’d probably suck to read this on paper but if you enjoyed the rpg aspect up till now then you should like this book

Download is good.
Dont expect much, this is considered the worst book in the series, and can be summed up in moments.
None the less, its more aleron kong, so take it as you will.

The preview of his next book series at the end was horrible. I believe Nick Podehl made this a good listen. This was the first book I was looking for the fast forward button. Spoiler 16 hours that should of been a 3-5 hour 7.5 novella (torrent is 5stars)

Honestly been a big fan too but awful book needs some serious editing down. the whole chapter on food poisining you should just skip. Someone should do a fan edit 2 hour version lol.

Holy hell talk about a long walk for a short drink of water. This book seems to be 90% pure character progression with very little actual story progression. Personally I’m hoping he’s just getting it all out of the way for the next book but that remains to he seen until it comes out. All I have to say is get used to the place setting I’m 63% through and it has yet to change. All told it’s still an Aleron Kong story so while the content is less than stellar the delivery is quite palatable.

First of all thank you for getting this out to us soooooo fast. Additionally no issues with either download or playback. Its annoying to get the constant add while in the middle of the good stuff but in the end even though I wished there had been more progression I wanted more. In the end i think that’s what good stories need they have to keep you coming though you cuss and moan its crack and i wanted the next fix. Thank you wholeheartedly.

Download quality was perfect. The Book was pretty disappointing. 2 hours worth of story progression stretched out about 16 hours.

For book…I’m at 2:24:58 and I’m waiting for any story progression. It’s impossible for me to accidently give spoilers because there’s nothing to tell yet so that’s a plus…in a way.
It feels like this should’ve been added to the end of book 7 because Richter is just were we left him and it’s basically been a recap of the battle in the form of stat notifications.
Hopping for progression at some point

Finished. It’s not bad, it just feels more like a side quest. Not even quite a book 7.5 because it doesn’t resolve anything. It’s like maybe there should be a book 7.6 right afterwards and THEN a book 8 could be released
