Thinking about downloading this audiobook makes me uncomfortable. I am uncomfortable because it would remove an excuse for not getting better. The choice to get better has always been up to me and the book and the excuse are just lies I tell myself. I can download this book and choose to apply its concepts or ignore them and I will still be just fine and have the same choices available to me that I do right now. I will download this book and listen to it. :)

One thing to always remember is that depression is a condition that tries to force you out of doing things that would help you get over depression.
Don’t blame yourself, or inactivity, or laziness for succumbing to what the depression does to you.

im downloading 20+ CBT and DBT audiobooks for my partner, i just wish i done this 10 years ago. i really hope they help her. refuses to go to therapy
