Really hoping this doesnt read like the cliche lifetime movie where the mom saves/adopts/mentors the kid from the wrong side of thr tracks, then of course he goes from a gang to a scientist-total BSI hope that kid that attacked the trans kid on the bus is still in jail. You can’t just do these things and have no self-control and be among the rest of us. Their behavior is not our fault. Hopefully it is done more true crime style than the usual PC trope of forgetting the victim and making the criminal into some kind of martyr folk-hero
