only 40k words for 4 books?!

I really can not recommend this series, while it is intertaining enough. Each “book” is closer to the equivalent of a chapter in most other books. The fourth “book” ends on a massive cliffhanger. It’s nearing 2 years now since the forth books release, and the author has released one more book(close to a year ago), from what looks like another new series. While the 4 pack might indicate that he plans to continue it, I’m really not gonna hold my breath.
