Revolution and Dictatorship explores why dictatorships born of social revolution—such as those in China, Cuba, Iran, the Soviet Union, and Vietnam—are extraordinarily durable, even in the face of economic crisis, large-scale policy failure, mass discontent, and intense external pressure. Few other modern autocracies have survived in the face of such extreme challenges. Drawing on comparative historical analysis, Steven Levitsky and Lucan Way argue that radical efforts to transform the social and geopolitical order trigger intense counterrevolutionary conflict, which initially threatens regime survival, but ultimately fosters the unity and state-building that supports authoritarianism.
Although most revolutionary governments begin weak, they challenge powerful domestic and foreign actors, often bringing about civil or external wars. These counterrevolutionary wars pose a threat that can destroy new regimes, as in the cases of Afghanistan and Cambodia. Among regimes that survive, however, prolonged conflicts give rise to a cohesive ruling elite and a powerful and loyal coercive apparatus. This leads to the downfall of rival organizations and alternative centers of power, such as armies, churches, and landowners, and helps to inoculate revolutionary regimes against elite defection, military coups, and mass protest—principal sources of authoritarian breakdown.

It’s very easy, the further left you are the more morally superior you are.
Anyone on the right is pure evil and needs to be attacked by those on the left and removed from society by any means necessary in order to prevent them harming racial and sexual minorities because they can’t defend themselves and need the left wing to defend them.
The left wing consists of all non whites, non cis heteronormative people and approximately 50% of the white community with the largest, the majority of which are women, and is of course the group that must be wiped out. They can’t be allowed to live as they an existential threat to our planet and democracy.
When that group has been wiped out then its the term of the other 50% of white people, including sexual minorities as they simply can’t be trusted not to do another holocaust, crusade, hiroshoma or slavery.
Then we shall have peace. A world wide socialist workers paradise where everyone can be free to do anything thru like whenever they like.
Although the right wing has done untold damage to the earth its possible for us to reverse that, firstly by getting rid of all white people then eradicating fossil fuels from the world, then eradicating any animals which can be exploited to make food to remove temptation to stray from a plant based diet, then the biggest challenge of all is to remove all carbon from the atmosphere to prevent the climate from changing.
We can do this, and it starts with YOU !
So if you are a white, cis gender heterosexual that isn’t vegan then kill yourself, right now. You’ll feel much better for your sacrifice

I don’t need to kill myself as I’m a protected sexual minority.
I’m demi sexual. Which means I need to form a bond with the person I intend to have sex with, which would be my wife.
But if you are a cis gendered heterosexual non vegan….uh oh, YOU HAVE TO GO FIRST.

I think the authors demonstrate the consequences of regime change via *violence* — whatever the ideologies of the revolutionaries or counterrevolutionaries. It seems many of their findings also apply to the violent counter-revolutionary coups and regime changes sponsored by the US in Guatemala, Chile, the Philippines, Iran, etc. (And yes, I know the 1954 coup in Guatemala was more of a charade than a violent takeover. But it worked because the charade was credible, given US threats and its military force, and force was required afterwards to suppress dissent)
