  @Jaisne Doesn’t matter whether you use the magnet or d/l the torrent file, either way once you add it to your torrent client eg. uttorrent, bittorrent etc, just untick the books you don’t need and only tick what you want.

  Ya, You can select the folders you want when you start the download or if your app doesn’t allow that, just start it, go to files tab (in the app) and uncheck the folders you don’t want to download.

  Michael,

  Both Windows and Mac only allows 256 characters in the file name length but that included the location that starts at the root C:.

  I’m not sure what a resume file is, I use utorrent, but change your download location close to the root…like C:Books.

  A lot of books these days have long names and I had that problem before and that fixed it for me.

  But why did you reencode the source files, especially those with already medium quality (32kbps)? That turned medium quality into horrible quality (take “Fall of Governor, pt 2″ for example) :(

  Doing all that work with cleaning the files, you should rather have used non-destructive tools, like “mp3directcut”.

  Thanks for advice.

  mp3directcut is so hard to use. I don’t like it.

  I save all my books as 32k because of hd space so when people stop seeding originals that’s all I have.

  BTW I use Audacity to fix offsets, levels and stuff like that. It forces a recode after making changes but I wouldn’t go through all that if it didn’t actually make it sound better.
