Having working with Microsoft, and being familiar with its history, I am completely unwilling to listen. Unless the answer to preventing the next pandemic is burning Bill Gates in effigy. As practice. Prior to burning the actual Bill Gates.

On pandemic response he’s been pretty consistent - and largely right.
I’m the first to highlight his poor behaviour whilst running Microsoft, and his subsequent attempt to buy the Nobel Peace Prize; despite all that I’ve warmed to him.

No, not actually whataboutery, it rather goes to character. A sleazy procurer with a paedophile island, a “lolita express” plane, an established pandering dynamic, etc.
As to “whatabout” Thatcher et al: to the extent that they may have been aware of such activities, they are complicit. However, it seems to have been a source of income & way of life for epstein. So, a matter of degree.
“it doesn’t mean anything” - On the contrary, it means one hell of a lot to the child victims and their loved ones. Any other view, in support of incredibly wealthy client-offenders, is merely part of the phcking problem.
