The first semester is ending. It’s time to take on the Tower!
The excursion was a mess. Sal’s trust in his team is at rock bottom from the actions of another in the final fight. He now needs to enter the Tower and fight demons with the same person who betrayed him.
As if that wasn’t enough, he’s pretty sure the former Super-Rookie and wonder kid on his team is actually a ticking time bomb, just waiting to explode.
Faced with the accusation that he’s squandering his power, Sal is forced to question what type of Hero he wants to become. He’s already pushing the limits of Mythcrafting, but if he’s to really live up to his potential, it’s time for him to focus on the ability he was born with: Skill Master.
The first semester is coming to an end, and the race to become a part of the Saviour class is on. With only a short amount of time to prepare for the Tower, Sal will need as much help as he can get to have a chance of success.

Okay, this is the 3rd book in this series and, I really like it.
Just got it after work today and thought to up it while I still got power and internet. Snow storm from hell itself is raging outside so, wanted to up this ASAP.
Stay safe with this insane weather and listen to a good audiobook while indoors!

Last book ended with the girl mind raping everyone around her acting holier than MC. Instead of facing some sort of consequence from those in charge of these teenagers or even just verbal condamnation by ANYONE the last scene was the author in effect endorsing mind rape not only as normal but legitimate and RIGHT. I really hope he came up with some sort of solution to salvage that ethical mess he deliberately wrote himself in, because it soured me on what was a pretty enjoyable series to that point.

Really good series. Fantastic magic school and progression blend with heavy crafting and plenty of combat. Many dynamic characters to love and hate. Great narrators as well. Audiobook itself excellent as always bd.
