The wildcatters discover a vast, decaying spaceship. The horseshoe-shaped vessel is of particular interest to Weyland-Yutani, and may be the answer to their dreams. But what Anne and Russ find on board proves to be the stuff, not of dreams, but of nightmares.

Alien Out of the Shadows by Tim Lebbon i take it is the second in the series. Which occurs between the movies Alien and Aliens. This looks like a kind of prequel to Aliens. About what happened on LV-426 before Riply and the colonial marines arrive.
What the first one in the series I do not know, as these are unofficial dramatizations of the Alien story, but I’d say Alien would be the first.

Ok, I downloaded before noticing the file size.
This is only 33kbps bit rate and very noticeable when listening to it.
Thanks for the effort uploader but for a full cast audio drama the quality is very poor.

@ReadForME Thanks random internet user, always enjoy being insulted on the internet. You obviously cant read because I did actually thank the uploader but I mistakenly thought people would like to know the quality of the Title which is in fact poor.

This is book 3 of 3. Book one takes place just after the first film book 2 takes place about 200 years after book one. Book 3 this one is just before the second film. I have not been able to find the second book on audio anywhere
