ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Shona MacLean was born in Inverness and grew up in the Scottish highlands where her parents were hoteliers. She has an M.A. and Ph.D. in History from the University of Aberdeen. She lives lives in Conan Bridge on the Black Isle in Scotland with her husband and four children.

ABOUT THE READER
Nicholas Camm, a native Englishman, has been a professional actor for some twenty years, regularly appearing in Britain’s top dramas, soaps and theatres. He is comfortable with most accents, although he is yet to get to grips with Icelandic (it’s just bizarre). He is a regular narrator for the award winning audio magazine, StarShipSofa, where his work is often personally requested by the contributing professional authors. He was the voice of the Real Radio Renegade for four years, a job which involved him being chased around the country by national radio listeners (it’s complicated!). Nicholas is scared of moths. And heights. But mostly moths.
