How to use or convert .opus files:
This format is used by, e.g., SoundCloud and YouTube and many system can already play .opus filess (possibly including Apple/iOS). Andriod supports .opus natively, including apps such as Smart Audiobook Player. VLC will play .opus files as well. Sometimes OSs/applications might not recognize and associate “.opus”. In that case, changing the extentions to .ogg may solve the problem. (In bash: for i in *.opus; do mv “$i” “${i%.*}”.ogg; done).
Alternately, you may want to convert them to something else. To convert from .opus to .mp3 w/ffmpeg in bash: for file in *.opus; do ffmpeg -i “$file” -q:a 8 “${file%.*}”.mp3; done
There are versions of ffmpeg for windows and OSX. You’ll have to investigate how to create a loop in those operating systems, however, in iOS you should be able to use the bash systax above.
You can also use VLC to convert files across platforms. FFmpegx is an appliaction for file conversion in OSX.

The last file (…Disc 06.opus) ends prematurely. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Same as PMONRO, the last file is cut off. Looking online, total runtime should be ~6 hours 22 min…this one is just over 6 hours, so it looks like ~20 min is missing.

Unfortunately, this is the only copy I have, the library doesn’t have a copy, and I don’t know where I got it…
FWIW, mediainfo lists the total duration as 06:00:55 so it is indeed short of 06:22.
Spoiler alert: the Nazis are defeated.
