It has happening to both the Predator and Alien franchises. I don’t need to know the sexual orientation or ethnicity of the characters. They almost all die anyway. There is no point injecting our current divisiveness in stories of escapism.

The new Predator fillum isn’t that bad. It’s got the odd massive plot hole, and the occasional egregious illogicality, but then it is a Predator fillum. Didn’t notice the Predator fella’s sexual orientation, but he’s definitely of a foreign ethnicity origin. Probably the best of the sequels - a difficult feat all the same.

seriously cant you all just keep your political views to your self’s and just enjoy a good book for once. shm. Im half way through this and its pretty good. almost as good as If it bleeds. Jonathan Mayberry did a awesome job on his story. I liked the sequel to the first predator movie much better then the crap Hollywood put out.

Just finished it. No woke garbage.No feminist agendas.
The only “ethno-centric” story in the bunch was the one from the viewpoint of the guy from Kashmir.

The last couple of anthology books from this Universe had some really good stories. So I am looking forward to this. Thank you for sharing, it is apprecaited.

@metroman Actually I did watch it, and it was a pretty well made film, except for the idea that a Predator who easily took out a heavily armed team of professionals (Twice), was beaten by a 16 year old girl with a bow and hatchet? It made me cringe because it just silly. Unless that was a brain damaged infant of a predator, it would be slightly more believable.
But I would really like people to stop with this diversity nonsense just create things like they are supposed to without all the inclusions. Since the 1970’s I have enjoyed so many films with strong women leads, black actors, asian actors, mid eastern actors, race never mattered until this diversity nonsense made selecting a film a political one. And its all the fault of those pushing diversity that all these films are bombing out, because they made it political, with “the message”. And it wont get better. I expect LOTR ROP to absolutely bomb because of this. The thing is, how you you all feel if the next black panther movie was played by Chris Pratt? You go to far changing something, you lose your audience.
