To clarify, there is NO HISTORICAL EXAMPLE of “beaked” plague masked doctors prior to the late 1600s. Drives me flipping crazy.

Stupid cover picture — no “plague mask” doctors in the middle ages — late 1600 at best.

Absurd cover picture. There is no evidence of “beaked plague doctors” in the middle ages — late 1600s at best. The images we CAN find are of Scaramouche masks, not some crow with glass eyes. Complete nonsense — certainly doesn’t say much for the author’s “research”.
