Travis Alexander was a handsome, hard-working, practicing Mormon who lived in Mesa, Arizona. His good looks and easygoing manner made him popular with everyone, especially the ladies. So when he was found with a bullet wound in the face and his throat slashed, the brutal murder sent shock waves throughout his community. Who could have done something so sinister?
But soon a suspect was singled out - Jodi Arias. A beautiful, aspiring photographer, Jodi had been in a long-distance relationship with Travis the year before. But Travis wasn’t interested in a serious commitment; he was seeing several women during that time. When he broke up with her, that didn’t stop Jodi from leaving California, moving to just a few miles away from Travis’s home, and inserting herself into his daily life.
Investigators found one piece of startling evidence in Travis’s home that implicated Jodi. But in a bizarre turn of events, Jodi would claim self-defense. Was she a victim - or a devious femme fatale?

I am very convinced that Jodi Arias has killed before. No psychopath can pull up something of this magnitude as first timers. Her calm and collectiveness after the murder was not only supplemented by her psychopathic mentality but also some sort of experience.

Thats one amazing book. She is, Idk, just awful but well composed. The prosecutor is really, really talented. Jodi is seriously born to kill.

I had never heard of this case before and this was the first thing I read about it. Needless to say I found the first two hours horrible: its about nothing other than Travis Alexander, trying to make him into something he is not. If anything he’s a two-faced manipulating womanizer who clearly pretended to be someone he was not depending on who he was interacting with. Almost anything that is mentioned about Jodi Arias is negative, and she gets only 1/4 of the volume of this book. Hardly equal treatment. Needless to say I was shocked that the insanity of Mormonism wasn’t even a subject of concern nor was the cruel emotional abuse that Alexander subjected Arias to, just so he could continue to have sex with her. Utterly astonishing. This book convinced me that not only were the Mormons in denial about who committed the murder but were probably concealing the murderer. Arias was a target because she was not “one of us.” A great book to showcase the insanity of religion in the world and how it exploits and manipulates not only people but even the legal system. This book completely fails in its effort to convince that Arias is guilty and I give it five stars for this failure.

When you stab people to death you don’t get equal treatment. This is the charm of the psychopath, she gets the sympathy of the blind. Everyone is against poor aria. The legal system, the Mormons, the writers and the detectives.
She is guilty whether you like the book or not. Whether religion is full of hypocrisy or not, Aria is a cold blooded psychopathic killer.
The end.
