Nearly everyone in Washington is a self-proclaimed defender of the Constitution, yet many either don’t understand or have consciously disregarded the document they’ve sworn to defend. Even many conservatives have been willing to overlook provisions that were designed to protect our fundamental liberties from an overreaching federal government.
Now Senator Mike Lee tells the dramatic, little known stories behind key parts of the Constitution. He shows how every abuse of federal power today is rooted in neglect of the Constitution - and most of those abuses were predicted by the Founders. For example:
• The Origination Clause says that all bills to raise taxes must originate in the House. It was gutted in 1892, leading eventually to Obamacare.
• The Fourth Amendment protects us against unreasonable search and seizure, but the NSA now collects our data without a warrant.
• The Legislative Powers Clause means that only Congress can pass laws, but unelected agencies now produce the vast majority of binding rules.
Senator Lee also explores the Ninth and Tenth Amendments, the Establishment Clause, among others, and makes a strong case for restoring our lost constitution.

I am from Germany. There is a wonderful documentary about Wikipedia called “Die dunkle Seite der Wikipedia” of Mr Fiedler on YouTube. Of course it was censured several times. It is - as the title says - about the dark side of wikipedia. It is not neutral but manipulated. The documentary shows how. Furthermore there is a German series about this - many hours of evidence. There is no question about this anymore. Wikipedia is not free at all. Maybe it was at the beginning. I myself found a lot of good articles in science and still do. All “Wiki” are now opinion.
This Senator is part of an isolationist movement but very knowledgeable about your constitution. This is important because you are a constitutional federal republic, not a direct democracy.

The author has done his utmost to block both victims of, and first responders to, the 9/11 attacks accessing support or compensation.
He also believes that democracy stands in the way of ‘the flourishing of the human condition’.
