The sequel to the acclaimed Gaza in Crisis from world-famous political analyst Noam Chomsky and Middle East historian Ilan Pappe.
Operation Protective Edge, Israel’s 2014 assault on Gaza, left thousands of Palestinians dead and cleared the way for another Israeli land grab. The need to stand in solidarity with Palestinians has never been greater. Ilan Pappe and Noam Chomsky, two leading voices in the struggle to liberate Palestine, discuss the road ahead for Palestinians and how the international community can pressure Israel to end its human rights abuses against the people of Palestine.

Why do those who constantly scream “Democracy” think it is ok to keep Palestinians in a concentration camp?
October 16th, 2023
because the people in camps are genocidal terrorists with dreams of genocide in their sick minds. there is and never has been a country called palestine because they refused to make a state and in live in peace with israel 6 times. the region was called that long ego because of the greeks 2000+ years ago went to kill the jews in judea. they failed and rome eliminated them when they took over. history is long and easy to find, learn it before asking stupid questions.

What happened in ancient history is irrelevant to what is happening in the present. Palestianians are imprisoned in an open air concentration camp by Israel who is backed with the military and financial might of the USA.

GenghisKhan128- Gonna have to revisit the Biblical tale of how the ancient Hebrews came to settle the land they call their ancestral homeland. It wasn’t unoccupied territory. The instruction, from God btw, was to kill every last Canaanite, sparing only young, virgin females who the Hebrews were instructed to take for themselves. I believe that is called “genocide.”
From Britannica: “Under the leadership of King David (10th century bce), the Israelites were finally able to break the Philistine power and at the same time to vanquish the native Canaanites, taking the city of Jerusalem. Thereafter Canaan became, for all practical purposes, the Land of Israel.”
Not to mention the current violation of Human Rights and International Law by way of the settler colonialism that has now swallowed the vast majority of the West Bank. This clearly shines light on the comprehensive wrongs of both parties in what, for the majority of ancient history, was referred to as Palestine. When you overlook the wholesale slaughter of the Canaanites and the diaspora, you ignore the lessons history is trying to tell you, and we all know what Santayana said about not remembering the past…
It also bears mentioning that the Jewish Virtual Library defines “Land of Israel” thus:
“Canaan is the ancient name for the land of Israel. The Torah gave Abraham the land of Canaan, which in some cases stretched from southern Syria to the Eastern Sinai and, in other Torah references, was only a small strip hugging the Mediterranean. Under the leadership of Joshua the Israelites conquered Canaan, which had previously been divided into seven city states. Today, the land of Canaan is known as Palestine, Eretz Yisrael and Israel.”
So it was Israel before it was Israel. Great argument.
The Hebrews of the time were a landless people who became a nation by way of mass genocide and “resettlement” of the people who lived in Israel’s “ancestral homeland” before the Hebrews arrived.
I know this will earn me the distinction of “anti-Semite,” but researching and learning the ancient history of the area says absolutely nothing about the modern Jewish people. “Pro-Israel” and “Anti-Zionism” are not mutually exclusive.

And Palestine is backed by Egypt, Iran, Labanon, and Jordan, as well as being supported by a raft of other muslim countries who want Israel to not even exist, and for all Jews to die.

@ GenghisKhan128 a fine display of cognitive and logical distortions. So if children are terrorists, then what does that make you, as a supporter of terror, genocide and war crimes, against children and refugees? Palestine is recognized by every country in the world, and has been around for millennia, except for the compromised western countries, so you are wrong on that one too. But still i don’t comprehend the logic of using such beliefs to commit war crimes.

Noam Chomsky is a free spirited jew who always condemned Zionists and the christian Zionists who dream of a stupid third temple to bring the armageddon and the second coming of jesus that Zio Caesar believe in.

@GenghisKhan128 because those in concentration camps are freedom fighters who you fear the most

Being anti-zionist isn’t being anti-jewish. There are many anti-zionist Jews.
My grandfather was and he escaped the Nazis.
Thank you for the upload.

More genocidal insanity there from nazi Within.
October 17th, 2023
Thank you so much for all your great uploads

Well said Within.
I think Chomsky is one of the great thinkers of our age.
Others may slate him for being ‘Anti-American’, however I don’t think being critical of the special interests that run a country equate to hating its population. In fact, I’d say its quite the opposite. I think jingoistic flag waving is a rather superficial form of patriotism compared to challenging perceived injustices at the hands of elite, deceitful tyrannies.
Guess who hates him around here?
Right, isn’t that obvious!
October 17th, 2023
Well said san 333.
The “Land of Israel” is barely mentioned in the Old Testament: the more common expression is the Land of Canaan. When it is mentioned, it does not include Jerusalem, Hebron, or Bethlehem. Biblical “Israel” is only northern Israel (Samaria) and there never was a united kingdom including both ancient Judea and Samaria.
Even had such a kingdom ever existed and been promised by God to the Jews, it is hardly a clinching argument for claiming statehood after more than 2,000 years. It is an irony of history that so many past Zionists, most of whom were secular Jews, often socialist, used religious arguments to buttress their case. Besides, the biblical account makes it quite clear (insofar as such accounts are ever clear) that the Jews, led by Moses and then by Joshua, were colonisers themselves and were commanded by God to exterminate “anything that breathes”. “Completely destroy them – the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites – as the Lord your God has commanded you.” Imagine if the Amorites came back and claimed their ancient land. If they did, this is what Deuteronomy 20 has to say: “Put to the sword all the men … As for the women, the children, the livestock and everything else … you may take these as plunder for yourselves.” Today, such an injunction would take you straight to the international criminal court.
By the 19th century, those who wanted Jews to “return” to the Holy Land were more likely to be Christian Zionists than Jews.

Hey, Loewe IQ, you’re doing your “own work” yet again! This time you selectively copied & pasted that from The Guardian online - dated from Thu 18 Apr 2013.
You’re deceitfully trying to pass all these selections off as your own observations.
But who are you really, behind all the opportunistic plagiarism? When you used to write your own comments, they were uniformly incoherent, replete with falsehoods, genocidal barbarity, power-worshipping imperialist Putin prop, & always hilariously erroneous.
We miss the old Loewe IQ, ya big loon. It’s impossible to take the new plagiarist Loewe IQ seriously…

what does it matter where it comes from as long as its true, looks like caesar is into argument over semantics as opposed the the substance of a statement…keep up your pilpul ceasar you’ll get brownie points for your effort from your rabbi…

Genocidal barbarity, power-worshipping?!
@ caesar963 enough of the Zionist gatekeeping. You’re an apologist for the terror and the oppression of millions of people under the disguise of democracy. Look what your Zionist friends are doing now, mass ethnic cleansing and genocide.
I don’t think you are from Ireland. Ireland and its people have always stood with the oppressed (Palestine) and always been against the oppressor (your Zionist friends).
I have quoted the Guardian purposefully to make it clear, that even in the UK, where your Zionist friends enjoy an unimaginable level of sympathy and support, there are voices becoming louder everyday to question all this nonsense that had spilled the blood of hundreds of thousands of people in the Middle East and caused great agony and suffering for innocent civilians.
As Rabbi Dovid Weiss always said: Zionism has created ‘rivers of blood’.
Watch how little sympathy and concern there will be from the West for the many Palestinian men, women and children who are killed once again by Israel. Their immense suffering will be obscured, and justified, by the term “Israeli retaliation”.
Amazingly when it comes to Ukraine, the West armed her to the teeth to fight Russia on its behalf, under the excuse that a people under occupation have the right to fight back.
But when it comes to the Palestinians, suddenly this right vanishes completely. Instead of defending the oppressed, the West arms and supplys the oppressors. Evidently the right to self-determination does not apply to everyone!
We need somebody to make us laugh, a guy/girl who can easily outsmart all of us. A narcissist who wants to have the last word and who will never rise to the top in his/her social milieu.

baglemonkey spreading his Jew hating ordure all over the site. The question of accuracy is a discrete question from Loewe IQ’s plagiarism - which is a first principles issue (but you wouldn’t know that, would you?).
Naturally, you Jew haters “think” that anything which expediently supports your Jew-hating prejudices is “true,” while rational factual refutations or accounts are always “filthy Jew lies!”
On to Loewe IQ: You did not “quote from” the Guardian, you clearly plagiarised someone else’s work - as you have repeatedly done - without even attempting to offer attribution or context.
Another of your pro-Putin imperialism screeds mistakenly (& hilariously) failed to remove a reference to the actual author’s on-the-ground journalism based in Eastern Europe as the Soviet Empire fell! So less of the guff now, Loewe IQ.
And as I explained, the article was from 2013, you mindless clown - “voices becoming louder everyday!” Oy.
You are a tireless copy/paste apologist for Hamas terror & their own oppression of the Palestinian people. You repeatedly express your hatred & incomprehension for liberal democracy, the rule of law & the human rights-based legal order; you always mindlessly support the most genocidal ideologies & regimes (Putin; the CCP; Assad, etc.). You worship human rights-abusers. Look what your Hamas friends have done again, mass ethnic cleansing, genocide, brutal rape, burning families alive, taking hostages, torture, child murder - even infant decapitation. Livestreaming & celebrating their barbarity. This is true terror. And you slavishly support & never condemn it - only when the hated Jeeewz! are at fault. What a sleazy basement character you are.
Yeah, in Ireland we enable everyone to have a voice - & we can all hold different opinions. But of course, you hate that kind of free system, what with you also being a Putin bot - your screeds full of “uniformly” incoherent falsehoods, genocidal barbarity, power-worshipping imperialist Putin prop, & always hilariously erroneous.
We also support people’s right to their own land - free from brutal, undemocratic tyranny - such as the British, nazi or caliphate invaders - & now Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad, etc. etc. We do indeed stand with oppressed & terrorised people & their grieving families, in Israel & the Palestinian territories - not Hamas murderers, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad, etc. etc. - all of your murdering friends.
“question all this nonsense that had spilled blood of hundreds of thousands of people in Middle East & caused great agony & suffering for innocent civilians” - Yes! So why don’t you condemn all of the undemocratic, oppressive, genocidal regimes of the region - including the barbaric murders & atrocities of your Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad & the rest? They have indeed created ‘rivers of blood.’ But no, you actually support all of these genocidal agents - & only ever condemn the hated Jews, because you are a hateful racist & bigot.
And notice how Israelis can freely criticise & condemn their government, but you refuse - or are too stupid - to notice that no one is free to criticise any of the other regimes which brutally control the region, including your Hamas murderers, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad, & the rest of that evil.
Now, why is that? Can you copy/paste an answer? But then you slavishly support all of the unfree, despotic systems & regimes.
A thought experiment: how can the brutal Hamas perpetrators of murder, child murder & rape be found & punished? Given that they intentionally embed themselves in the suffering civilian population - itself another of their war crimes? They use people as human shields, putting them in harm’s way - with every death a propaganda victory for Hamas. And you support this. Notoriously, they had their HQ in a hospital; they place their rocket launchers beside apartment blocks; they have killed untold numbers of children in the operation of their weapons’ tunnels; they misappropriate all funds intended for the welfare of the people - and on, and on. They freely admit that they explicitly want to “exterminate” all Jewish people.
And you support all of this.
“Ukraine, West armed her to the teeth to fight Russia on its behalf” - Another demented lie. Then you also “think” that Ukraine invaded Putin’s Russia - rather than the other way around? Even the other Putin prop bots are unlikely to make such a stupidly obvious error.
“self-defense!” - You imagine that what Hamas did last week was “self-defense?” You “think” that the mass murder of peaceful non-combatants, brutal rape, burning families alive, taking hostages, torture, child murder, infant decapitation - that this is all “self-defense?” P’haps you also imagine that the livestreaming & celebrating of this barbarity is merely the recording of “home movies?” Genuinely, how stupid are you? Do you also “think” that Hamas’ stated aim of the “extermination” of all Jewish human beings is defensive, rather than offensive in character? Do you even know what elementary words mean?
On Chomsky: yeah, I attended several of his talks in Dublin over the yrs. The problem was that he downplayed genocide when it was committed by oppressive, tyrannical regimes & ideologies which he essentially supported & defended (China, for inst, back before he admitted that they had murdered multiple millions - his admission finally came in the mid-nineties).
As long as the oppressive regime/ideology is against the liberal democratic, rule of law, market systems which incorporate the human rights-based legal order. This Western political order he has always opposed. This can be explained in greater detail, but unfortunately you haven’t been able to demonstrate any independent understanding whatsoever thus far, only plagiarism & brainless repetition. With the brainless repetition at least being somewhat your own effort.
For inst, I challenge you again to tell me which Chomsky bk you have honestly read (or any work of polit philosophy!) - & I will fairly quiz you on your comprehension of it (no plagiarism, because I always spot it, & have called you on it before). And no - youchewb vids don’t count. Or will you try to transparently slither out of it again?
That’s it - your mindless repetition is back again! That’s the old Loewe IQ - rather than trying to falsely pretend to be an intelligent, educated type merely through the device of copying/pasting another’s work - sans attribution. Intelligence never suited you. More of your brainless repetition - less of your transparent plagiarism, Loewe IQ.
We missed the old Loewe IQ. It was impossible to take the new plagiarist Loewe IQ remotely seriously…

Your words reflect the contours of European racism. It’s part of European culture to have racist attitudes toward the Third World, including the US, it is part of Europe in that respect. Naturally the Jewish community shared the attitudes of the rest of Europe, not surprising. There certainly are such things inside Israel. The one that probably so obvious is the anti-Arab racism, because that requires subjugation of a defeated and conquered people and that leads to racism. If you’re sitting with your boot on somebody’s neck, you’re going to hate him, because that’s the only way that you can justify what you’re doing, so subjugation automatically yields racism, and you can’t overcome that. Furthermore, anti-Arab racism is rampant in the United States and much of the West, there’s no question about that. The only kind of racism that can be openly expressed with outrage is anti-Arab racism. You don’t put caricatures of blacks in the newspapers any more; you do put caricatures of Arabs.
Israel originated as a colonial settlers’ project. This is the reason why above all the USA, Canada and New Zealand – all states founded on colonization and the expulsion of the indigenous population – are among Israel’s strongest supporters and feel a connection with the state.
You can write 1000 words but you cannot run around this fact.
According to you Israel is always the victim here and it is such a peaceful dove. But you ignore that the constantly repeated phrases such as “Israel is only defending itself” or “Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East” partly result in a role reversal between victims and perpetrators, giving certain players – like Hamas – the sole blame for the conflict’s escalation and entirely ignoring factors such as the ongoing deprivation of rights for Palestinians living in Israel.
One question, why is Israel targeting innocent Palestinians?
For what became the dominant tendency in the Zionist movement (your friends), there has been a fixed long-term goal, the goal is to rid the country of Palestinians and replace them with Jewish settlers cast as the “rightful owners of the land” returning home after millennia of exile”. Since its establishment and whenever possible, the Israeli government — and indeed the entire Zionist movement (your friends) — adopts strategies of terror and expulsion.
Mass ethnic cleansing, genocide, brutal rape, burning families alive, taking hostages, torture, child murder - even infant decapitation??
Really? And you can still keep a straight face?
The West’s hypocrisy over Palestinian fighters killing and wounding hundreds of Israelis and holding dozens more hostage in communities surrounding and inside besieged Gaza is stark indeed.
This is the first time Palestinians, caged in the coastal enclave, have managed to inflict a significant strike against Israel vaguely comparable to the savagery Palestinians in Gaza have faced repeatedly since they were entombed in a cage in 2007, when Israel began its blockade by land, sea and air.
Western media are calling the jailbreak and attack by Palestinians from Gaza “unprecedented” – and the most dismal intelligence failing by Israel since it was caught off-guard during the Yom Kippur War exactly 50 years ago.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has accused Hamas, which nominally runs the open-air prison of Gaza, of starting “a cruel and evil war”. But the truth is that the Palestinians have “started” nothing. They have managed, after so much struggle, to find a way to hurt their tormentor.
Inevitably for the Palestinians, as Netanyahu also observed, “the price will be heavy” – especially for civilians. Israel will inflict on the prisoners the severest punishment for their impudence.
I’m surprised people aren’t aware of this. It was common knowledge, no matter our age, growing up with this ongoing conflict.
Amazingly it is not a common knowledge for someone who tries to run away from hard facts to a world of movies and fairytales.

Yeah, Loewe IQ, I explained everything to you - in clearly understandable terms - in earlier post. Try to improve your reading comprehension & delayed efforts at concentration. Also, tone down your foaming racist hatred & genocidal bigotry - there’s already a surfeit of that repellent rot from the rest of your sleazy, Jew-hating friends.
Hilariously, you’ve once again proved that you’ve never read a Chomsky book - or any work of polit philos. You can only struggle through racist pamphlets! How embarrassing. I once more made the offer to question you on any bk you claim to have read - & yet again you have transparently slithered away from it.
Busted.
Other than that, you’ve got all your mindless repetition & ineducable ignorance in place as per, Loewe IQ, which, as I also explained, always makes it impossible to take you seriously.
Dismissed.
October 21st, 2023
Dismissed of course, how else can anyone justify and understand the mass slaughter and ethnic cleansing that is going on under our eyes daily. Only by dismissing those (inferior) people can they then be justifiably exterminated and that was exactly what the Nazis did not very long time ago.
I am under no illusion about the fact that you have never read and reflected on the last text that I have written. Any human with little common sense would have seen it clearly by now, that Israel is an apartheid state that uses criminal means to expel the indigenous people and steal their land.
In the Occupied Territories, what Israel is doing is even much worse than apartheid. To call it apartheid is a gift to Israel, at least if by “apartheid” you mean South African-style apartheid. What’s happening in the Occupied Territories is much worse. There’s a crucial difference. The South African Nationalists needed the black population. That was their workforce. It was 85 percent of the workforce of the population, and that was basically their workforce. They needed them. They had to sustain them. The bantustans were horrifying, but South Africa did try to sustain them. They didn’t put them on a diet. They tried to keep them strong enough to do the work that they needed for the country. They tried to get international support for the bantustans.
The Israeli relationship to the Palestinians in the Occupied Territories is totally different. They just don’t want them. They want them out, or at least in prison. And they’re acting that way. That’s a very striking difference, which means that the apartheid analogy, South African apartheid, to the Occupied Territories is just a gift to Israeli violence. It’s much worse than that. If one looks inside Israel, there’s plenty of repression and discrimination. It’s bad, but it’s not apartheid. So the term, I just don’t think is applicable.
Now, don’t tell me that what Hamas did was surprising. It is just they have managed, after so much struggle, to find a way to hurt their tormentor.

Yet again, you are lying. Yet again you are plagiarising someone else - without any attribution. I keep finding you out, and you keep lying. Attribute properly, you uneducated clown. You want us to take you seriously? Just what are you on, pea brain?
“that I have written” - You liar.
“those inferior people” - That’s precisely what you “think,” isn’t it Loewe IQ? Those inferior Jeeewz - the characters behind all your mindless con theories. Disgusting. Yet more of your vile racist hatred & genocidal bigotry - I told you to tone that evil shyte down, didn’t I?
You’re celebrating brutal murder, child murder & rape.
“Occupied Territories” - You didn’t know that Israel withdrew from Gaza in 2005? That they removed their settlers from the northern part of the territory? They don’t want to occupy it. The Jewish people live in their ancient homeland. They wanted Palestinians to govern themselves. If the Jewish people held a garrison there, it would merely be a target for Hamas terrorists.
But Hamas won elections & took power. They have appropriated all funds that were intended for the welfare of the people, and procured weapons, bombs, rockets & missiles. Why not support their people, instead of buying weapons to slaughter people?
Hamas terrorise their own population & oppress women, gay people - any who are “different.” But you are ignorant of all of this, of course.
The Hamas terrorists have not held elections since 2006. They are in the 17th year of a four year term (never mind, Loewe IQ, that concerns democratic rights - you hate democracy, because you’re unable to understand it. Like everything else).
Why don’t Hamas stop embedding themselves in the civilian population - whom they also terrorise - this is yet another of their war crimes. They use people as human shields, intentionally putting them in harm’s way - with every death a propaganda “win.” They had their HQ in a hospital; they place their rocket launchers beside apartment blocks; they have killed untold numbers of children in the operation of their weapons’ tunnels. They freely admit that they explicitly want to “exterminate” all Jewish people. They don’t even care about their own people - or life, in principle.
We can’t ignore all this - or stick our fingers in our ears. That would be intensely stupid (over to you, Loewe IQ).
How does one deal with such a genocidal organisation?
Why do Hamas & the other entities operate such systems? Why do they oppress & terrorise their own populations - using them as shields? Why do they not allow freedom of speech or open critique? Why do they actually murder their own political opponents, rather than holding elections? Why do they oppose democracy & fundamental human rights? Why do they poison children’s minds - rather than invest in education? Why don’t they permit the freedom of their people? Why do they persecute women, gay people & those who are “different?” Why do they misappropriate the funds intended for their own people’s welfare, and instead use it to procure more weapons & endless, pointless death? Why do they oppose progress? Why don’t they negotiate & drop their objective of “extermination” of a people? They cannot win either - so why not drop their ambition of genocide?
And again - again - you’ve proved that you’ve never read a Chomsky book - or any work of polit philos. You’re just a stupid, ignorant racist. How humiliating. I made the offer (multiple times) to quiz you on any bk you claim to have read - & yet again you have transparently slithered away from it.
Busted - again.
And you expect us to take you seriously? Not going to happen, Loewe IQ.
October 22nd, 2023
Really?? This is amazing I can’t stop.
I can hardly keep a straight face even behind my screen. There is only one guy or maybe girl that brings me to tears of laughter on this platform.
There is no end to this delusion and lack of historical and political insight.
So, let’s talk about Gaza, the U.S. and Israel have been acting in tandem to extend and deepen the occupation. In 2005, recognizing that it was pointless to subsidize a 8000 Israeli settlers in Gaza, who were appropriating substantial resources and protected by a large part of the Israeli army, the government of Ariel Sharon decided to move them to the much more valuable West Bank and Golan Heights.
Instead of carrying out the operation straightforwardly, as would have been easy enough, the government decided to stage a “national trauma,” which virtually duplicated the farce accompanying the withdrawal from the Sinai desert after the Camp David agreements of 1978-79. In each case, the withdrawal permitted the cry of “Never Again,” which meant in practice: we cannot abandon an inch of the Palestinian territories that we want to take in violation of international law. This farce played very well in the West, though it was ridiculed by more astute Israeli commentators, among them that country’s prominent sociologist the late Baruch Kimmerling.
After its formal withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, Israel never actually relinquished its total control over the territory, often described realistically as “the world’s largest prison.” In January 2006, a few months after the withdrawal, Palestine had an election that was recognized as free and fair by international observers. Palestinians, however, voted “the wrong way,” electing Hamas. Instantly, the U.S. and Israel intensified their assault against Gazans as punishment for this misdeed. The facts and the reasoning were not concealed; rather, they were openly published alongside reverential commentary on Washington’s sincere dedication to democracy. The U.S.-backed Israeli assault against the Gazans has only been intensified since, thanks to violence and economic strangulation, increasingly savage.
Meanwhile in the West Bank, always with firm U.S. backing, Israel has been carrying forward longstanding programs to take the valuable land and resources of the Palestinians and leave them in unviable cantons, mostly out of sight. Israeli commentators frankly refer to these goals as “neocolonial.” Ariel Sharon, the main architect of the settlement programs, called these cantons “Bantustans,” though the term is misleading: South Africa needed the majority black work force, while Israel would be happy if the Palestinians disappeared, and its policies are directed to that end.
One step towards cantonization and the undermining of hopes for Palestinian national survival is the separation of Gaza from the West Bank. These hopes have been almost entirely consigned to oblivion, an atrocity to which we should not contribute by tacit consent. Israeli journalist Amira Hass, one of the leading specialists on Gaza, writes that “Gaza is an example of a society that has been deliberately reduced to a state of abject destitution, its once productive population transformed into one of aid-dependent paupers.… Gaza’s subjection began long before Israel’s recent war against it [December 2008]. The Israeli occupation — now largely forgotten or denied by the international community — has devastated Gaza’s economy and people, especially since 2006…. After Israel’s December [2008] assault, Gaza’s already compromised conditions have become virtually unlivable. Livelihoods, homes, and public infrastructure have been damaged or destroyed on a scale that even the Israel Defense Forces admitted was indefensible.
“In Gaza today, there is no private sector to speak of and no industry. 80 percent of Gaza’s agricultural crops were destroyed and Israel continues to snipe at farmers attempting to plant and tend fields near the well-fenced and patrolled border. Most productive activity has been extinguished.… Today, 96 percent of Gaza’s population of 1.4 million is dependent on humanitarian aid for basic needs. According to the World Food Programme, the Gaza Strip requires a minimum of 400 trucks of food every day just to meet the basic nutritional needs of the population. Yet, despite a March [22, 2009] decision by the Israeli cabinet to lift all restrictions on foodstuffs entering Gaza, only 653 trucks of food and other supplies were allowed entry during the week of May 10, at best meeting 23 percent of required need. Israel now allows only 30 to 40 commercial items to enter Gaza compared to 4,000 approved products prior to June 2006.”
One crucial element of Israel’s criminal siege, little reported, is the naval blockade. Peter Beaumont reports from Gaza that, “on its coastal littoral, Gaza’s limitations are marked by a different fence where the bars are Israeli gunboats with their huge wakes, scurrying beyond the Palestinian fishing boats and preventing them from going outside a zone imposed by the warships.”
According to reports from the scene, the naval siege has been tightened steadily since 2000. Fishing boats have been driven steadily out of Gaza’s territorial waters and toward the shore by Israeli gunboats, often violently without warning and with many casualties. As a result of these naval actions, Gaza’s fishing industry has virtually collapsed; fishing is impossible near shore because of the contamination caused by Israel’s regular attacks, including the destruction of power plants and sewage facilities.
These Israeli naval attacks began shortly after the discovery by the BG (British Gas) Group of what appear to be quite sizeable natural gas fields in Gaza’s territorial waters. Industry journals report that Israel is already appropriating these Gazan resources for its own use, part of its commitment to shift its economy to natural gas.
The funny sad fact that is unhidden to all, there is a theme that goes way back to the origins of Zionism. And it’s a very rational theme: “Let’s delay negotiations and diplomacy as long as possible, and meanwhile we’ll ‘build facts on the ground.’” So Israel will create the basis for what some eventual agreement will ratify, but the more they create, the more they construct, the better the agreement will be for their purposes. Those purposes are essentially to take over everything of value in the former Palestine and to undermine what’s left of the indigenous population.
This world works like a mafia and America is the Don, do what we say or else.
I don’t expect someone with little faculty to comprehend all that.
It is beyond hope.

We will not take you seriously…
We can not take you seriously…
We need somebody to make us laugh, a guy/girl who can easily outsmart all of us. A narcissist who wants to have the last word and who will never rise to the top in his/her social milieu.
There are very few people I’ve met in my whole life that don’t like Noam Chomsky: Oppressors and Tyrants.
October 22nd, 2023
Again - yet again - I have caught you plagiarising here, Loewe IQ. Those words are not yours, & you are lying yet again by failing to honestly attribute. You keep doing it, & I will continue to call out your lies. It completely undermines you, of course. Easy. You need to learn how to think - no one else can do that for you. This is just one of the reasons no one will take you seriously.
“that I have written” - You silly liar.
And drop all of your racial hatred & genocidal bigotry - grow up, FFS.
“I can’t stop” - Lying, yes. We know you can’t.
“There are very few people I’ve met in my whole life” - That’s because you won’t leave your isolated basement. Finally go out. Touch grass at last.
“govt of Ariel Sharon decided to move them” - Yes, as I said. You had falsely claimed that Gaza was occupied. Another of your lies exposed.
“withdrawal from Sinai desert aft Camp David agreements 1978-79″ - Israel did withdraw in further peace efforts, yes. Then the Egyptian president, with whom they were negotiating, was assassinated. You do not know any of this. Israel had held this land after they had been deceitfully attacked by a coalition of Arab states, in 1973. They still prevailed over their aggressors. Finally read a book, rather than mendaciously copying/pasting from a website.
“often described realistically as “the world’s largest prison.”” - Indeed, the undemocratic, human rights-abusing Hamas regime continue to terrorise their people, using them as human shields, persecuting women, gay people, & those who are “different” - & constantly stealing resources meant for them, in order to procure more weapons of pointless death & terror. “Violence & economic strangulation,” in truth.
“electing Hamas” - Hamas is indeed a genocidal terrorist organisation - & recognised as such internationally, by the EU & other legitimate, democratic entities - Hamas explicitly want to “exterminate,” as they describe it, an entire people whom they regard as subhuman - every man, woman & child, as we have recently witnessed. To this end, Hamas poisons the minds of children, rather than using the resources intended for their beneficial education.
“Meanwhile in the West Bank” - the undemocratic regime there is also in the 17th year of a 4-year term. An enviable & heartfelt commitment to democratic liberties & human rights there.
“the separation of Gaza from the West Bank” - They are controlled by two different, opposing regimes. You didn’t know this either? Did you think it was all Hamas? You’ve never heard of the Abbas regime? That’s a whole other deal right there.
“Gaza is example of a society deliberately reduced to state of abject destitution” - Precisely. Impoverished by Hamas’ systematic theft of all resources.
“population transformed into one of aid-dependent paupers” - Indeed, & Hamas spends everything on the procurement of yet more murderous weapons - utterly futile, mindless terrorism, as we can see.
“recent war against it [December 2008]” - Here again, you have stolen an article from almost 15 years ago, & tried to pass it off as your own; & the Guardian article you plagiarised before was from 10 years ago! Again & again. So obvious.
“homes, & public infrastructure have been damaged” - Yes, by Hamas’ deliberate policy of placing their rocket launchers beside apartment blocks, their HQ in places like hospitals - critical infrastructure - always using people as human shields, in order to gain what they regard as propaganda “wins.”
“In Gaza today, there is no private sector to speak of & no industry” - And it appears that Hamas et al will continue to steal all resources to spend on weapons & terror, rather than invest in their terrorised, suffering people; instead their intentional actions have resulted in a predicament where “Most productive activity has been extinguished.”
And a fortiori Hamas will use every shipment into Gaza as pretext & cover for smuggling more weapons of their murderous trade, as we know. By sea, air & land. The Egyptians are also plagued by these Hamas-controlled terrorist activities, in addition to the wider international community. The efforts to give aid to the people in Gaza is frustrated by Hamas’ constant movement of weapons of murder & destruction.
“funny” - There is nothing remotely funny about Hamas’ terrorism & persecution of their people. Your evil reaction in celebrating their mass murders is truly disgusting, and reveals who you really are, behind all the transparent plagiarism & stupid ignorance.
“Let’s delay negotiations & diplomacy” - Hamas are committed to “extermination” of an entire people, as they themselves freely admit, that is scarcely a rational basis for “negotiation.”
“indigenous population” - The ancient homeland of the Jewish people, yes, but Hamas want to also make it the graveyard of all of those people - by the inhuman method of their genocide.
Hamas indeed “works like a mafia…do what we say or else” - the brutal slaughter of all of those peaceful people by Hamas themselves.
“I don’t expect someone with little faculty to comprehend all that” - No, you just copied/pasted & plagiarised it, you clearly did not comprehend any of it.
Your ineducable condition “is beyond hope.”
So, what can be with a genocidal organisation like Hamas? When they want to “exterminate” an entire people? When they don’t even value the lives of their own people?
In terms of deterrence, what if the Jewish people laid down all their weapons tomorrow, what do you really think would happen? If they had done so in 1967 or 1973?
What can justify those barbaric acts by Hamas last week, when they would be able to foresee the outcome?
If Hamas didn’t want an Israeli response, why then did they slaughter & rape all of those people - including infant children? And livestream it?
“those inferior people” - That’s really what you “think,” Loewe IQ. Those inferior Jeeewz - the “infernal” characters behind all your insane con theories. Repellent. Yet more of your vile racist hatred & genocidal bigotry.
You’re celebrating brutal murder, child murder & rape, FFS.
And multiple times now you have proved that you’ve never read a Chomsky book - or any work of polit philos. I gave you too many chances. But you’re only a demented, ignorant racist. How humiliating for you. I made the offer (myriad times) to quiz you on any bk you claim to have read - & yet again you have transparently slithered away from it.
Busted - again.
You can’t hope that any of us will ever take you seriously - with your appalling, see-through falsehoods & ignorance. You’re still deluded, Loewe IQ!
October 22nd, 2023
I was sure that you are going to attack the person’s credibility rather than the argument at hand. All that labeling and slandering were aimed to obscure the fact that you have run out of arguments. Thanks a lot!
Why the incursion of 7 October was not a surprise?
First of all, Gaza is being described as among the most densely populated areas in the world. Beginning in 2006, there were elections held in the West Bank in Gaza, elections that were urged upon the Palestinians by the US administration. The results of the elections unexpectedly brought Hamas, or its civilian party, into power. At that moment, the Israelis, followed by the EU and the US, imposed a brutal blockade on Gaza. I should note that Jimmy Carter was in the occupied Palestinian Territories at the time, and he pronounced the elections completely honest and fair.
Now let’s speak first to the blockade. With the rarest of exceptions, nobody can go into Gaza. Nobody can leave Gaza. The population of Gaza consists overwhelmingly of about 70% refugees from the 1948 war and the descendants of those refugees, about half the population, comprised of children. So we are talking here about a population that’s overwhelmingly refugees and at least half children. Since the blockade was imposed on Gaza, nobody can go in with the rarest exceptions and nobody can leave with the rarest exceptions. Gaza has endured roughly, it fluctuates with time. So let’s bring it up to the present. About 50% of the population of Gaza is unemployed, and 60% of the youth are unemployed. It has the highest unemployment rate of any area in the world.
The other facts to bring to bear on Gaza are the humanitarian crisis. The international humanitarian organizations have over time repeatedly described Gaza as suffering from “severe food insecurity.” Now, if you take all of these discreet facts and try to come up with a comprehensive picture, it fluctuates or vacillates between two images, or hovers between two images: One was the one pronounced by the UK’s conservative Prime Minister David Cameron. He described Gaza as an open-air prison. That would be one pole of the spectrum. The other pole of the spectrum would be Baruch Kimmerling, the eminent Hebrew University sociologist who described Gaza as the largest concentration camp ever. So it’s fair to say that situation has been endured for approximately 20 years, with variations. There was a period when Gaza wouldn’t let in virtually any civilian products. Chocolate was prohibited, potato chips were prohibited, and chickens were prohibited.
There was a period when Israel calibrated, literally calibrated, the number of calories each Gazan needed above the starvation level, what you might call starvation plus, and didn’t allow in any food beyond that starvation plus calibration. As I said, with minor fluctuations over time, that’s been the situation that the people of Gaza have had to endure these past 20 years. But that’s only half the picture. And the other element is the periodic massacres Israel launches on Gaza. Now, it’s been a lot more than five.
The ones which are best known. First is Operation Cast Lead which ran from December 26, 2008, to January 17, 2009. When Amnesty International, in the course of the operation, called in a voluminous report it issued, “The 22 days of death and destruction.” In the course of those 22 days, Israel killed about 1,400 Palestinians, of whom 350 were children. It flattened about 6,000 homes and destroyed all of the vital infrastructure in Gaza: the cement factories, and the chicken factories. Targeted and flattened the vital infrastructure. Then, fast-forwarding past several massacres, one was the massacre in the Mavi Marmara, the humanitarian ship that was heading towards Gaza. Then there was the massacre and Operation Pillar of Defense in 2012, and then there was in July-August, 2014, there was Operation Protective Edge. In the course of Operation Protective Edge, Israel killed about 2,200 Palestinians, and 550 children, and committed dramatic destruction in the infrastructure of Gaza. It destroyed about 18,000 homes.
But beyond the 18,000 homes, Peter Maurer – Who at the time was the president of the International Committee of the Red Cross – Went to Gaza after the Israeli assault, and he then said that in his entire professional career… Now, bear in mind, that this is the president of the ICRC, so his job is to tour combat zones. He said in his entire professional career, he had never seen such destruction as when he visited Gaza during Operation Protective Edge.
And then we’ll get to one more massacre, not because it stands out in terms of numbers killed, but because it speaks to one claim that’s constantly made against the people of Gaza and the Hamas leadership (your uninformed claim). In 2018, March 31 it began, the Palestinians in Gaza, despairing but also responsive to the exhortations of the international community, attempted a nonviolent Gandhi-like civil rights movement, like resistance in Gaza, what came to be called the Great March of Return.
And Palestinians overwhelmingly nonviolently… Now, I’m referring to the first six weeks because a major massacre occurred. Israel committed a major massacre on May 14, and that changed the character of that nonviolent resistance. So what did the Palestinians who attempted to follow the exhortations of the international community to try nonviolence, and what was the result of it? Well, there were several human rights reports. The most exhaustive was carried out by a distinguished committee commissioned by the United Nations. It was the Human Rights Council. And it found that – Remember, we’re talking about nonviolent demonstrators – Israel targeted children, it targeted medical personnel, it targeted journalists, and it targeted disabled people; Palestinians who were in wheelchairs and suffering from other physical disabilities. And not surprisingly, after the massacre on May 14t 2018, the nonviolence quickly, though not entirely, petered out.
So if we fast-forward to today or till October 7, the fair thing to say – Not engaging in hyperbole or exaggeration because the truth speaks for itself – The Palestinians in Gaza were left there to languish and die.
All of this, which is only the tip of the iceberg, lead us the conclusion that: Israel fears any form of strategic political thinking on the part of Palestinians, shortly before Israel launched Operation Protective Edge, Palestinian factions had put together a unity government at the end of April 2014. Israel is also actually terrified of any nonviolent forms of civil resistance.
Israel considers any Palestinian resistance to its settler-colonial project to be illegitimate and unacceptable. Let’s remember that Israeli blockade on Gaza has nothing to do
with security. Almost 50 percent of the population of the Strip is unemployed. For the most part, water is undrinkable, and at this pace, the United Nations fears that by 2025 Gaza will simply be unlivable.
It is such a stark fact how the continuous punishment of Gaza, the multiple wars, and the Israeli- and Egyptian-imposed siege all aim to stifle Palestinian resistance through
collective punishment and hopefully that Gazan will eventually depart on their own.
I don’t expect someone with such a little faculty to comprehend all that.
It is beyond hope.

Another obvious fail, Loewe IQ. You’ve plagiarised all of that - yet again - deceitfully, without any attribution whatsoever. This time you stole it from the Real News. All it takes is a google search - and you still don’t even realise that! You’re too easy.
“attack the person’s credibility” - Loewe IQ: you have no credibility! You comprehensively destroyed it yourself. I gave you multiple chances - & you could still only plagiarise & lie. You fail to understand any of the areas at issue. Although I have patiently explained everything.
The words you ceaselessly copy/paste are not yours, & you are lying yet again by failing to honestly attribute. I will continue to call out your lies. It completely undermines you, of course, but that’s your decision.
Again, this is just one of the reasons no one will take you seriously.
The depth of your racial hatred & support for genocide is truly shocking. No mentally healthy person ought to celebrate & cheer for mass murder, child murder & rape the way that you constantly do.
You ought not blame Jewish people for all of your life’s failures & your lack of any education. You must know that that path is one of futility?
If Hamas didn’t want an Israeli response, why then did they slaughter & rape all of those people - including infant children? And livestream it?
Why do they tyrannise their own people, and use them as human shields?
“those inferior people” - That’s really what you “think,” Loewe IQ - those inferior Jeeewz - the characters behind all your insane con theories. Yet more of your vile racist hatred & genocidal bigotry.

Awesome, that just proves me point. You hide behind your personal attacks because you have run out of arguments.
You can write 1000 words but you can’t obscure this fact, that Israeli authorities have enjoyed impunity for too long. The international failure to hold Israel to account means Palestinians are still suffering every single day. It’s time to speak up, to stand with Palestinians and tell Israel that we will not tolerate apartheid.
Israel has been systematically committing serious human rights violations against Palestinians for decades. Violations such as forcible transfer, administrative detention, torture, unlawful killings and serious injuries, and the denial of basic rights and freedoms have been well documented by Amnesty and others. It is clear that Israel’s apartheid system is being maintained through committing these abuses—which have been perpetrated with almost total impunity.
They form part of a widespread and systematic attack against the Palestinian population, carried out within the context of Israel’s institutionalised regime of systematic oppression and domination over Palestinians, and therefore constitute crimes against humanity of apartheid.
For decades, Palestinians have been calling for an end to the oppression they live under. All too often, they pay a terrible price for standing up for their rights, and they have long been calling for others around the world to help them.
There is no place for apartheid in our world. It is a crime against humanity, and it has to end. I am sure that this horrible mass slaughter will be the beginning of an end to Israel’s system of apartheid against Palestinians.
I feel sorry to see people are still defending these bestialities.
But there is still hope. Because (You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free).

“Awesome” - Well, thanks, Loewe IQ - but flattery will get you nowhere with Caesar. You’re still sleazy, lying, uneducated cheerleader for murder, rape & genocide.
“that just proves me point” - You had a point?! And what’s this “me point” business? Are you being anti-Irish again. Racist.
“don’t like Noam Chomsky” - Well, again, you’re going to have to finally read one of his books in order to find out (rather than merely dropping his name!).
“You hide behind your personal attacks” - Start writing your own stuff then. Don’t be such a cowardly liar. That’s all on you, Loewe IQ.
“you have run out of arguments” - You never had any arguments, just dishonest plagiarism!
“You can write 1000 words” - Yes. Why can’t you write any?
“Palestinians are still suffering every single day” - Yes. Used as “human shields” by Hamas, Islamic Jihad, etc. With women, gay people & those who are “different” being persecuted by Hamas et al. They terrorise & torture their people. Why? Why do you slavishly support all of this? Moreover, they are impoverished by Hamas’ systematic theft of all resources - procuring of yet more murderous weapons - utterly futile, mindless terrorism, as we know. And Hamas’ deliberate policy of placing their rocket launchers beside apartment blocks, their HQ in places like hospitals - critical infrastructure - always using people as human shields, in order to gain what they regard as propaganda “wins.”
And Hamas will use every shipment into Gaza as pretext & cover for smuggling more weapons of their murderous trade, as we know. By sea, air & land. The Egyptians are also plagued by these Hamas-controlled terrorist activities, in addition to the wider international community. The efforts to give aid to the people in Gaza is frustrated by Hamas’ constant movement of weapons of murder & destruction.
“Apartheid” - 21% of Israel’s population is Arab Muslim, & many classified Palestinian. With legal, civil, political, constitutional & fundamental human rights. They have freedom of expression. They elect deputies to the Knesset. Their parties & representatives have served in Israeli governments. Arab Muslims in Israel have more rights than they have in any Arab Muslim state - none of which are democratic, or feature human rights.
There is an Arab Muslim Palestinian on the Israeli Supreme Court. How many Jews on the Palestinian Supreme Court? All Jews were expelled from Arab Muslim countries - all of their land & property was stolen (again).
Contrast that with Hamas & Mahmoud Abbas, who, as observed, are all currently in the 17th year of their 4 year terms. No elections held since 2006. That is indeed denial of democratic liberties & human rights; so apartheid in truth.
Hamas et al have indeed “been systematically committing serious human rights violations against Palestinians for decades. Violations such as detention, torture, unlawful killings & serious injuries, & the denial of (all) basic rights & freedoms have been well documented by Amnesty & others. It is clear that (Hamas’) apartheid system is being maintained through committing these abuses—which have been perpetrated with almost total impunity.” And your total, absolute support. Because you support murder, rape & genocide; & you hate fundamental human rights, the rule of law & democratic liberties. You are morally insane.
Hamas et al & their “institutionalised regime of systematic oppression & domination over Palestinians, & therefore constitute crimes against humanity of apartheid.” True.
“For decades, Palestinians have been calling for an end to the oppression they live under. All too often, they pay a terrible price for standing up for their rights, and they have long been calling for others around the world to help them.” Yes, why don’t their Hamas oppressors, other genocidal terrorists & their vicious racist regimes grant them human rights & democratic liberties? Why do they unlawfully appropriate all the funds intended for the welfare of Palestinians - & continue to waste it all on weapons of murder? Why? And why do you slavishly support all of that, which only makes their plight worse? In addition to being a Jew hater, do you also hate these suffering people?
“There is no place for apartheid in our world” - True.
“I am sure that this horrible mass slaughter will be the beginning of an end” - Hamas’ appalling mass slaughter (yet another of their war crimes) of all of those peaceful civilians was of course terrible. But I don’t think they will stop, as they always affirm that they want to “exterminate” every man, woman, child - and infant - as they demonstrated again earlier this month, for all of us to see. They maintain that they won’t rest until they have brutally slaughtered every Jewish human being.
And yes, I feel sorry to see you so enthusiastically defending & cheerleading for all of these bestialities - & continued murder, rape & genocide.
You seem determined to deny the truth about the murders & genocidal aims of Hamas. I’ve never seen you condemn any of their atrocities. Indeed, you seem to thirst for more of this horror.
Anyway, more of your obvious fails, Loewe IQ. You’ve plagiarised so much & so deceitfully, sans any attribution whatsoever. All it takes is a google search to find you out - & you still don’t realise that. You’re very easy. You comprehensively destroy yourself.
I gave you multiple chances, as you know - & you could still only plagiarise & lie. You fail to understand any of areas at issue. Although I’ve patiently explained everything.
The words you ceaselessly copy/paste are not yours. I’ll continue to call out your lies. Completely undermines you, of course, but - your decision.
The depth of your racial hatred & love of genocide is disturbing. No mentally healthy person ought to celebrate mass murder, child murder & rape the way you constantly do.
You can’t blame Jewish people for your life’s failure & your lack of any education. You know that path is one of futility.
If Hamas didn’t want an Israeli response, why then did they slaughter & rape all of those people - incl infant children? And livestream it?
Why do they tyrannise their own people, and use them as human shields?
“those inferior people” - There you are again, Loewe IQ, that’s what you “think,” those inferior Jeeewz - characters behind all your insane con theories. Yet more of your vile racist hatred & genocidal bigotry.
Also, you constantly prove that you’ve never read a Chomsky bk - any work of polit philos. I gave you too many chances there, as well. But you’re admittedly an ignorant racist. I made the offer (myriad times) to quiz you on any bk you claim to have read - & yet again you have transparently slithered away from it. Oy…
And you’re desperate for me to take you seriously? I genuinely can’t do that, Loewe IQ - I might be able to look past your lack of education & all you other failures; your absurd, see-through lies & subliteracy - but I cannot & will not ignore your vicious racism, your Jew hatred, your hateful support for murder, torture, child murder & rape - your cheerleading for actual genocide. Can’t do it, Loewe IQ.
October 24th, 2023
Blame Jews for everything? Why would I do that.
We have concrete examples that speak to Israel’s lack commitment and respect for international laws.
Let’s take its targeted killing program. Amnesty International condemned Israel’s policy of assassinations targeting individuals. Israeli officials acknowledged that the policy exists and is being pursued. The United States has a very similar policy. Some on the Israeli left have also criticized the assassination policy as a “gangster act” unacceptable to the government and a violation of Israeli law. The Israeli Supreme Court ruled that the assassination was illegal, but leaked documents suggest the Israeli military ignored the ruling.
Let’s take the Judaization of Jerusalem. The term Judaization of Jerusalem refers to the view that Israel seeks to transform the physical and demographic landscape of Jerusalem to accommodate the vision of a united, essentially Jewish Jerusalem under Israeli sovereignty. The United Nations has criticized Israel’s efforts to change its demographic structure. Several resolutions mentioned Jerusalem. All legislative and administrative measures taken by Israel aimed at altering or altering the character, legal status or demographic composition of Jerusalem have been described by the United Nations as “null” and “of no effect”. UN Human Rights Council investigator Richard Falk said Israel’s expansion of East Jerusalem settlements and the displacement of Palestinians “can only be explained by the cumulative impact as a form of ethnic cleansing”. John Dugard, in a 2008 report, said an independent investigator for the United Nations Human Rights Council found Israeli policies of “colonialism, apartheid, occupation, etc.” He cites the Judaization of Jerusalem as one of the many examples of ethnic cleansing.
Since 2003, the UN has issued 232 resolutions on Israel, representing 40% of all resolutions issued by the UN during the same period, more than six times as many as second-largest country Sudan. According to testimony from pro-Israel human rights groups, the NGO UN Watch told the US Congress on the UN Human Rights Council in January 2011 that 70% of the Council’s nearly 50 resolutions. It reported that Israel was the focus of 60% of the special sessions and 70% of the 100 condemnation resolutions.
Norman Finkelstein and Stephen Zipperstein, professors of Jewish cultural history at Stanford University, argue that because of the tendency to perceive Jews as victims, criticism of Israel is sometimes viewed as inappropriately anti-Semitic. Zipperstein suggests that the prevailing attitude of viewing Jews as victims sometimes implicitly shifts the perception of Israel as a victim. Finkelstein, on the other hand, suggests that portraying Israel as a victim is a deliberate ruse to stifle criticism of Israel.
See, you are alone in this position desperately trying to alter facts and realities on the ground. I feel sorry for that.

No, void repetition & vacuous copy/paste. No substantive content or veracity. Your sleazy racial hatred & desire for genocide, brutal terrorist murder, child murder & rape is wholly unacceptable.
You actually celebrate child murder & rape.
Again, dismissed.
October 24th, 2023
Human rights have long been side-lined by the international community when dealing with the decades-long struggle and suffering of Palestinians. Palestinians facing the brutality of Israel’s repression have been calling for an understanding of Israel’s rule as apartheid for over two decades. Over time, a broader international recognition of Israel’s treatment of Palestinians as apartheid has begun to take shape.
“I do not know why the entire world is watching what is happening and letting Israel get away with it? It is time the world stopped spoiling Israel.”

Why do you support & celebrate child murder & rape? A simple question. Why do you reject & hate human rights & democracy? Why do you also long for racist genocide of the Jewish people, whom you hate?
You long for me to take you seriously - how can that ever happen? So, dismissed.
October 24th, 2023

Supporting & celebrating child murder & rape again, Loewe IQ. And your allies the nazis, of course. Again, why do you reject & hate human rights & democracy? Why do you also long for racist genocide of the Jewish people, whom you hate? (”inferior people” - Dear God.)
You want me to take you seriously? How?! Dismissed.

Well, your kind of genocidal hate ought to be taken seriously, Loewe IQ, but you personally? Don’t be a silly bot! You mindlessly hate the Jewish people because you blame them for all of your life’s failures & your lack of any education. That is the profile of all vicious racists: “Only for the Jews - I shouldn’t have such Loewe IQ! Hate them!” - That sort of insanity.
“that I have written” - That you plagiarised, you copy/paste liar!
“I am under no illusion” - Oh, you’re under lots of illusions, you racist loon.
“criminal” - Hamas et al? Indeed.
“indigenous people” - The ancient homeland of the Jewish people, yes, you know it.
But why do you support & celebrate child murder & rape again, Loewe IQ? Why do you reject & hate human rights & democracy? Why do you also long for racist genocide of the Jewish people, whom you hate? (”inferior people!”)
You want me to take you seriously after all that? How?! Dismissed.

Amnesty International has created a free 90-minute course called “Deconstructing Israel’s Apartheid Against Palestinians”. To learn more about the crime of apartheid in international law, what apartheid looks like in Israel/OPT, and how it affects Palestinians’ lives, sign up to our course on Amnesty International’s human rights education academy.
Apartheid is not acceptable anywhere in the world. So why has the world accepted it against Palestinians?
Human rights have long been side-lined by the international community when dealing with the decades-long struggle and suffering of Palestinians. Palestinians facing the brutality of Israel’s repression have been calling for an understanding of Israel’s rule as apartheid for over two decades. Over time, a broader international recognition of Israel’s treatment of Palestinians as apartheid has begun to take shape.
Yet, governments with the responsibility and power to do something have refused to take any meaningful action to hold Israel accountable. Instead, they have been hiding behind a moribund peace process at the expense of human rights and accountability. Unfortunately, the situation today is one of no progress towards a just solution and worsening human rights for Palestinians.
Amnesty is calling for Israel to end the international wrong, and crime, of apartheid, by dismantling measures of fragmentation, segregation, discrimination, and deprivation, currently in place against the Palestinian population.
As you can see you are totally alone in this position. I feel sorry for people who are afraid to name facts as they are. Instead they deflect and play with words to distract from the main theme.

…more plagiarism. As I explained, inadmissible, so dismissed.
“who can easily outsmart all of us” - Well, that’s easy! You need to finally read a book, Loewe IQ.
“totally alone in this position” - Yeah, it’s just me & everyone else who believes in liberal democracy, the rule of law, the human rights-based legal order - & who opposes genocide, brutal murder, child murder & rape.
So you would very much be on the opposing side to all of that! Reasonable, educated folks can’t agree with your genocidal racism, you see. Sorry about that: No Sale.
October 24th, 2023
In March 2022, the UN Special Rapporteur on the human rights situation in the OPT determined that the “political system of entrenched rule” in the occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip “satisfies the prevailing evidentiary standard for the existence of apartheid”.
In November 2022, the UN Special Rapporteur on the right to adequate housing reached the same conclusion in relation to Israel’s policies of home demolitions. Some states, including South Africa, condemned Israeli apartheid, echoing statements by Palestinian, Israeli and international human rights organizations. Despite this growing recognition, Israel continued to enjoy impunity thanks to the support of its key allies.
October 24th, 2023
Taking you seriously is unthinkable…
October 24th, 2023
More brain-damaged repetition & mendacious plagiarism, Loewe IQ. We’ve talked about this, sweetheart. Can’t take you seriously, no.
October 24th, 2023
The Israeli relationship to the Palestinians in the Occupied Territories is totally different. They just don’t want them. They want them out, or at least in prison. And they’re acting that way. That’s a very striking difference, which means that the apartheid analogy, South African apartheid, to the Occupied Territories is just a gift to Israeli violence. It’s much worse than that. If one looks inside Israel, there’s plenty of repression and discrimination. It’s bad, but it’s not apartheid. So the term, I just don’t think is applicable.
October 24th, 2023
You can not be taking seriously…
October 24th, 2023
The genocidal terrorists want to murder all the hated Jews - men, women, children - infants. And you slavishly support that, Loewe IQ.
October 24th, 2023
As Rabbi Dovid Weiss always said: Zionism has created ‘rivers of blood’.
Watch how little sympathy and concern there will be from the West for the many Palestinian men, women and children who are killed once again by Israel. Their immense suffering will be obscured, and justified, by the term “Israeli retaliation”.
Amazingly when it comes to Ukraine, the West armed her to the teeth to fight Russia on its behalf, under the excuse that a people under occupation have the right to fight back.

One crucial element of Israel’s criminal siege of Gaza, little reported, is the naval blockade.

Caesar963, I hope you live long enough to see how wrong you are. People will look back at you the same way we look at the white supremacists in Rhodesia. Absolutely vital reading following 7 October 2023. IP and NC effortlessly convey reflexive moral clarity - which is testament to both their character, on the West’s inaction in the face of US empire. I’d recommend Finkelstein’s “Gaza” as a complimentary read to this, as he’s self-described as the writer to Noam’s expertise on morality, and sheds light on the sheer durativity and inhumanity the settler-colonialist project of Israel really is.
I also would note, somewhere around the second chapter they elude to Australia, Canada and the US as Anglo countries that would be the first to jump at supporting their fellow settler-colonial friends - a shame that none of these countries have truly learnt from their own actions as someone from these places.
October 27th, 2023
@ mjolkar you are right.
Israel originated as a colonial settlers’ project. This is the reason why above all the USA, Canada and New Zealand – all states founded on colonization and the expulsion of the indigenous population – are among Israel’s strongest supporters and feel a connection with the state.
I have also read a lot for Finkelstein and found his assessments were very realistic and compelling.

Good Lord. A comment thread on an audiobook site should not be longer than the audiobook in question. You two are making my brain itch.
If you can’t see what’s been happening in that area since the end of World War I, you’re blind. Or deliberately ignorant. For the Israelis, it was never just about a place of their own. It’s about Greater Israel. The West Bank is all but gone, by way of settler colonialism, which is a crime against humanity. What’s happening right now in Gaza is the latest giant step toward that goal. And I wouldn’t be surprised if they go after Jordan and/or Lebanon next.
There’s a short book on this very site, called “A Modest Proposal to Solve the Palestine-Israel Conflict,” by Karl Sabbagh. It obviously doesn’t cover the current “war,” but it is at the very least an honest (and I think truthful) primer for anyone who wants to start at the beginning and try to understand the most complicated puzzle in modern history.
And stop with the filibustering, caesar. it’s unbecoming. Never use ten words when two will suffice.
November 19th, 2023
I win! (There - 2 words, PP.)
November 19th, 2023
It’s not uncommon throughout history for individuals to find themselves on the wrong side of events, and Caesar963 is no exception. Time has a way of revealing the flaws in arguments and perspectives. While it’s easy to hold steadfast to one’s beliefs, genuine growth and understanding often come from acknowledging and learning from mistakes.
It’s my hope that, if and when the shortcomings in Caesar963’s arguments become apparent, they can engage in sincere reflection.
November 19th, 2023
Hmmm, what shortcomings, I wonder? Any specifics? Then reflection may begin, of course.
For inst, must the person who disagrees with one, always be in the wrong?
