Carole Rutledge, who died in the crash, is mistaken for Avery Daniels. As she lays helpless in the hospital and unable to communicate, Avery makes a shattering discovery: someone close to Tate planned to assassinate him. Now, to save him, she must live another woman’s life, risk her own…..and make her TV colleagues believe she is still alive.
One of my covid-19 re-reads. Interesting premise but not one of Sandra Brown’s best.
