Forewarning for tbose not familiar with this author/series; despite this saying Book 1 of the series, this is a continuation on his previous book, Solitude.
Read/Listen to Solitude before Magnitude. This was my first experience with Dean, so I was super confused when Chapter 5 rolled around, introducing different characters, whom are discussing events as if the reader is already familiar with it.
Before Chapter 5, there are things mentioned that hint towards this being the case, but I wasn’t sure if it was part of his style or not, but yeah… Go read/listen to Solitude first and ignore thae whole “Book 1″ on the cover.
Sorry, but regardless of whatever, this is clearly a Book 2 and you won’t change my mind.

@ReiThePanda this isn’t book 2, it’s book 4ish…
It’s book 1 of the second trilogy. So yes there is 3 books before it, but those three had an “ending”.
