friendly reminder that both US are right-wing, one far, one slightly-less-far, and exactly zero of COVID lockdown protocols[all of which are constitutional under public health ordinances] is robbing anyone of rights. the rich got richer during this pandemic and everyone else got little more than “good luck!”. it’s not left vs. right. it’s rich vs. not rich.

Considering absolutely nothing in the synopsis describes anything like socialism, it isn’t surprising that this is yet another American without a dictionary or a historical reference or even a manifesto to peruse that would define real socialism for them instead of the made-up word they think it is.

Orwell’s critique was poignant because he was criticising at least in perceptions his own team re HTC.
