The description labels the included files .mp3. The file list, however, clearly shows that the files are .m4b. Why?

These are the exact same files I created & uploaded here last week, I suspect what happened was someone downloaded my torrent last week uploaded to another tracker, then saint2sinner2 downloaded it from there, and uploaded it here without checking that it was already here.
kinda funny to see my own files uploaded again lol
If there 64kb 44,100kHz sample rate there the ones I created anyway.
