MPS - There are plenty of books here by Dinesh D’Souza and Anne Coulter and other right wing authors — something for everyone. The site isn’t liberal or conservative or anything because the books that appear aren’t controlled by anyone. There are just uploaded by anyone who feels like sharing. Since they didn’t actually cite anything SPECIFIC from the book that was “bs” I would guess many of the “non liberal” folks posting here never bothered to read or listen to this book.
Calling something “liberal” is not a critique of it. If you only read things you think you’ll agree with you wind up in an echo chamber of confirmation bias and you’ll never escape that ideological cage, meaning you could be on the wrong side of something for years without having the complete information or knowing all the arguments.
As to the book itself, I bought the ebook version of this so came here to get the audio version. I will always try to buy a copy of a book when it’s good stuff and I like the author. You have a journalist here who had copped on to what Goldman and the other major financial institutions were up to re: fraud in a way the rest of the press didn’t.
In his political writing, if any of you BOTHER to actually read the thing, you’ll see that he is one of the few political reporters in the US that goes outside the bubble and actually talks to the voters making a real effort to understand what their concerns and views are. So if you bother to give the guy a chance instead of slapping a general label on him you might like him. If you wanna be a little bitch who can’t handle reading something he MIGHT disagree with and lock yourself in a safe space where you only read things you’re sure you’ll agree with go ahead, but the only one it will hurt is you.

Wow, everyone is the worst. I know it’s a pirated audiobook site, but I’d hoped that the discourse would be a little ‘higher brow’ than a youtube comment thread.
As a liberal, I can admit that the left has become overly sensitive and whiny, but no more so than conservatives were when Obama took office (or before).
Also, the violence that’s occurred is disgusting, but can’t be blamed on Liberalism any more than the fire-bombing and vandalization of black churches or the shooting in South Carolina can be blamed on Conservatism.
