In Incurable Me, a maverick physician brings transparency to some of medicine’s most closely guarded secrets. As he establishes a link between commerce and medical research, K. P. Stoller also explains how to treat some of the most worrisome diseases and conditions afflicting humans today - including Lyme disease, brain trauma, dementia, and autism.
Dr. Stoller maintains that the best evidence in medical research is not incorporated into clinical practice unless the medical cartel has the potential to make large amounts of money promoting the results of the research. Stoller takes his provocative argument a step further, maintaining that if specific research conflicts with a powerful entity’s financial interests, the likely result will be an effort to suppress or distort the results. Stoller cites numerous examples, including corporate influence on GMO labeling and public health.
Stoller also explores how “revolving-door-employment” between the Centers for Disease Control and large pharmaceutical companies can affect research results - as well as our health. Written in an accessible style that is thoroughly appropriate for a lay audience, Incurable Me is a must-listen for anyone interested in the state of modern medicine.

The author is an Anti-vax nutcase.

“Stoller is an advocate of hyperbaric oxygen therapy, a treatment that delivers oxygen to the body in a pressurized chamber. Its proponents claim the therapy can treat a variety of ailments, including autism, diabetes and cancer, though these claims have not been clinically proven.
Stoller has also written a series of books, including a memoir chronicling communications with his deceased teenage son…”

@jdt7ietyjiw5: I’d bet you haven’t done any research into why some of us aren’t keen on vaccines - the dangers from injury, sometimes dead, the chemicals used in them, the stuff that’s gone into the manufacture, etc.

@spaniel1
I bet you have. Got your PhD straight from Google, I presume?

Speaking as a person who has read a very large number of peer reviewed articles on autism and the treatment of the same, while it is accurate that most of it isn’t incorporated into medical practice, there also isn’t some super effective treatment just laying about in obscurity that everyone is ignoring because money. Sure there are things that improve quality of life a bit, but calling those a treatment is quite a stretch.

Because I can’t resist, here’s another book of at least equal validity: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JcIFo7_uNpQ

You can’t communicate to antivaxxers. They only believe to whackos like this book, everyone else is part of the Big Pharma Illuminati.
Thank them for the resurgence of Measles, and they’ll make sure that many more die from Covid unnecessarily.

excellent book describing the current state of affairs to western medical refusing to look at integrative medical options due to drug monopolistic practices. Old medicine should not be ignored if it still works!
