The first book was great.. but the recorded skill names was atrocious… please.. please don’t do it anymore.. it’s annoying

The book feels dull and pointless. “Cheat skill” trope is recognizable from the very beginning, but instead of enabling a power fantasy it is used to introduce a dull and pointless world building, and, more specifically, the progression mechanics. The important parts of a story, like introduction of interesting characters, revealing motivation of the main character, interesting story and so on, is basically non existent. The MC is dull, other characters are dull, their motivations are the most basic and dull ones one can think of. And the story only progressed from plot point A (the revelation of the cheat talent) to point B (the introduction of a skill that enables this cheat talent) in the hour or two that I managed to listen to. And to make the things worse, both the plot point A and plot point B are absolutely random and feel very unearned. A little bit of agency he finally gets at plot point B, is actually immoral in its nature. Basically, he steals something belonging to someone else.
