In the apocalypse, the first weapon Adrian will have to upgrade is himself.
The end of the world as we know it couldn’t come at a worse time for him. One minute, he’s an operations manager who’s overseeing a construction job in the wilderness. The next, an unknown energy force changes the very nature of life itself, from the smallest organism to the top of the food chain.
The Earth’s surviving inhabitants, its environment, and the very laws of physics have all undergone fundamental transformations. Many of those changes aren’t pretty. Plenty of them are deadly. Luckily for Earth, this has happened to other species before, and everyone receives an interface that survivors of similar events have used to navigate through an alien landscape.
Adrian’s going to need every advantage he can get. He’s stranded in the middle of nowhere; there are days, maybe weeks of travel between him and his family. In a world full of monsters and mayhem, survival means beating the learning curve….

I’ve seen much much worse, and the cover is apropos if you’ve listened to even 30min of the book. It doesn’t help that it’s the audiobook cover either, as the actual cover is less cluttered (https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/71DurrD3OaL.jpg).
I really can’t stand how the audiobook industry continues to use the CD case form factor for covers, even though people use devices better suited for the original covers. I personally always swap out the 1:1 covers for original HD ones when using the “Listen Audiobook Player” on Android. I hate the Audible app so much that I convert everything from there to avoid the app.

I think audible is run by really old people and it began in the mid 1990s. At least on bandcamp you can download or buy actual physical media on record/vinyl using print-on-demand. Imagine having the option to get audiobooks on old physical mediums from audible. You get 500×500px cover thumbnails instead.

Please seed book 1 anyone, please I keep trying and trying but it won’t download I got the others but I’m scared I’ll ruin the whole series if I listen out of order. Please help someone!
