Thank you, jodindy. It’s great to get the new and, alas, last of Philip Kerr’s Bernie Gunther novels. He died last month of cancer at age 62, and his work will be missed.

Losing Phillip Kerr is like losing an old friend who I feel I got to know through his excellent Bernie Gunther series.
