In little-bro Davy’s newest book he attacks the ‘tyrannical’ Democrats as unhinged lunatics and conveniently leaves out the fact that their lunatic president Donald Trump keeps racking up high crimes like they’re rounds of taxpayer-funded golf, threatening civil war or execution as punishment for any attempt to hold him accountable. Rational people would assume he’s the greatest threat to democracy that we face today, not the Democrats trying to hold him accountable for his many high crimes, including, but not limited to: extortion, treason, obstruction of justice, collusion with Russia, corrupt Trump family business dealings while holding high office, tampering with multiple witnesses, etc.
Yet it is Limbaugh and the Republicans in Congress who are inviting Trump to continue his torching of the Constitution, the greatest threat to this republic that any of us will ever see. Unfortunately, impeachment will fail because it is the complicit and cowardly GOP that have enabled a deranged, corrupt maniac to control and abuse the most powerful office in the world.

@crimsonflush - Republicans are torching the Constitution? Are you even in the same country? The liberals have been systematically dismantling the Constitution for decades piece by piece. The greatest threat to the Republic is the progress toward socialism that the liberals seem to be pushing.

I was born, and lived in a Socialist country.
The Millennials have no idea what they are supporting.
The end of the individual, the end of innovation, the end of free speech, the end of the entrepreneur, the end of the economy, the end of opportunity.
The rule by the Party elites.
Anyone who thinks that Socialism (1st cousin to Communism) is good for society is a Fool.
By supporting and believing that Socialism will bring you a better world, you are weaving the rope to hang yourselves. Socialism has not worked anywhere in the world. It has only led a nation into decline and death.

Then ask yourself if digging up dirt on a political opponent by strong arming a fair weathered “ally” is worse than say providing arms to terrorists?
Then ask yourself, what’s the point of doing this exercise of an impeachment inquiry. Is it to stop an investigation in Joe & Hunter Biden (nice that he resigned his board seat on that Chinese company after all this came up), or perhaps it’s just political haymaking, especially when the Dems knows even it goes to the Senate, they won’t get Trump removed from office.
Nope, they’ll play B.S. games probably never even calling a vote on impeachment until after the 2020 elections. Because they know if they vote and send it to the Senate floor, they loose all control of it at that time.
Hey, but what a precedent that they are setting. Hold closed door impeachment hearing without a vote, unlike the last two times Presidents have been impeached. Leaking every piece that favors their side to the media while suppressing everything else.
Impeachment hearings have now become a political tool instead of being a means to censure/remove an elected official as designated in the Constitution.
