Now the anchor of The O’Reilly Factor details the events leading up to the murder of the most influential man in history: Jesus of Nazareth. Nearly two thousand years after this beloved and controversial young revolutionary was brutally killed by Roman soldiers, more than 2.2 billion human beings attempt to follow his teachings and believe he is God. Killing Jesus will take readers inside Jesus’s life, recounting the seismic political and historical events that made his death inevitable – and changed the world forever.

this is a religious text, and should not be in the history section.

This is far from a religious text! When the content of the book covers nearly 2000 years of HISTORICAL facts it belongs in the history section. Just because the book title has Jesus in it doesn’t make it a religious text. By your logic, Stephen King’s Children of the Corn should be in the children’s section??? Or maybe with cook books??? After all, it does have a food in the title so it must be all about corn!

Thanks for the upload. Too bad some people don’t know how to suppress their anxiety, animosity, paranoia or phobia, whichever it may be.

One thing I’ve learned is the admin of this site has no clue what he or she is doing when it comes to classifying these titles

@scott
At best this is historical fiction. If you consider it to be fact, then that really becomes a religious
belief, now doesn’t it?

Religious history is history.

Also, the categories of non-fiction and fiction are not equivalent to the categories of true and false. Secular books of philosophy, politics, opinion and outright lies are non-fiction just as religious books are non-fiction. Non-fiction means the author is claiming it to be true, not that it actually is true. Mein Kompf and false and also definitely belongs in the non-fiction. Librarians don’t have time to make judgements about the truth and falsehood of the books: they just shelve them by authorial intent. This is in fact a non-fiction book. Period.
