Will Wash be able to defend the planet from conquest by a swarm of giant alien insects? And will Jimmy be able to put aside his rivalry with Wash to fight for Earth, or will he decide that an alien horde is the perfect tool to dispose of his old enemy?

Really Surprised the author never got sued by MGM for use of the ’stargate’ or it’s likeness facsimle. It is basically the same thing, using the premise to get from one location to the next using the stargate ‘gate’ quickly.
not a real fan of this author, his novel series occasionally start of okay then they become mundane and utterly a bore fest, Chaney can be exactly the same at times, far to much exposition which create nothing but gaping plot holes everywhere in the novels.

He used every-single-one except for making Wash a fentanyl addict who walks around stooped over.
It’s a little much and reeeks of desperation.
